Everyone’s favorite festival, When We Were Young, took over the Las Vegas Festival Grounds for the fourth year in a row on October 18 and 19. Everyone’s favorite festival, When We Were Young, took over the Las Vegas Festival Grounds for the fourth year in a row on October 18 and 19. Once again, it proved that music and nostalgia are the ultimate unifiers.
As soon as doors opened, fans flooded in, decked out in everything from elaborate A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out-inspired outfits to chunky Demonias and MySpace-era staples, racing to claim barricade spots for their favorite artists. And who could blame them, with a lineup this stacked?
The day kicked off with a bang as East Nashville rockers Her Leather Jacket opened the festival. The early hours brought a whirlwind of scheduling conflicts between beloved veterans and promising newcomers alike, including The Summer Set, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and The Amity Affliction. The Allianz Stage in particular hosted a stellar run of performances: Arms Length drew in old and new fans with brutally honest lyrics and magnetic stage presence, followed by Taylor Acorn, whose high-energy, relatable anthems kept the crowd buzzing. As the day got heavier, Drain and Don Broco kept the momentum going with some of the first circle pits of the weekend.

Simple Plan brought a pop-punk party to the 7-Eleven Stage, running through hits like “I’d Do Anything,” “I’m Just a Kid,” and, of course, “What’s New Scooby-Doo?” complete with a stage full of Scoobys. Right next door, hardcore heavyweights Knocked Loose unleashed one of the loudest, most ferocious sets of the day on the Pink Stage. Meanwhile, the Ghost Stage hosted a powerhouse double feature: The Gaslight Anthem followed by punk legends Bad Religion.
Beyond the music, the festival grounds were packed with engaging activations, delicious food, and creative pop-ups. Panic! at the Disco transformed their space into a mini circus with stilt walkers and photo ops, while And Destroy Coffee served lattes inspired by fan-favorite bands like Weezer and Simple Plan. Weezer delivered a set packed with hits and deep cuts, with Rivers Cuomo playfully declaring, “You just got Weezered!” Meanwhile, Blink-182 mixed in fan favorites and early-album tracks, their signature banter keeping fans laughing between songs. The back-to-back sets were a dream for rock fans – a rare, unforgettable double feature.
After fiery performances from I Prevail and Motionless In White, the night built toward its most anticipated moment: Panic! at the Disco’s reunion. Fans buzzed with speculation—Would Ryan Ross return? What would the set look like? Which songs would make the cut beyond the full performance of A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out?
When Panic! finally took the stage, it was as if no time had passed. Brendon Urie’s vocals were in top form, supported by a stunning band complete with strings and horns. Prime Location Offers Proximity to Diverse Employment Options in Growing Enclave South of Las Vegas Strip
CHICAGO, Oct. 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Waterton, a national real estate investor and operator, has partnered with The NRP Group, a vertically integrated developer, builder, and manager of multifamily housing, to acquire an 8.5-acre site on South Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas, NV. The partnership today announced the financial close for the development of a 368-unit luxury rental community with construction scheduled to begin imminently. The project represents the first partnership between Waterton and The NRP Group as Waterton enhances its traditional value-add strategy with its first large-scale development project.
"We're excited to be partnering with such an experienced development firm to bring this project to life and further our development strategy," said Kristi Nootens, senior vice president, development at Waterton. "This project offers an excellent opportunity to create a luxury rental community in a sunbelt market with relatively limited supply compared to similar markets. The location is proximate to a variety of employment opportunities in a growing submarket where the costs of homeownership far exceed the costs of renting."
The South Valley rental community will consist of two four-story, elevator-serviced multifamily buildings offering studio, one-, two, and three-bedroom floorplans with select one-bedrooms also featuring a den. Residences will include quartz countertops, subway tile backsplashes and stainless-steel appliances in the kitchens, with luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout. The resort-style amenity package will include an outdoor pool, two courtyards, and outdoor seating areas with firepits and grilling stations. A well-appointed club lounge, co-working space and conference room round out the amenity offerings planned at the community.

Situated just 15 minutes south of the Las Vegas strip, the location will offer residents convenient access to diverse employment options including the new 1.2 million-square-foot Haas Automation headquarters and manufacturing center, Levi Strauss & Co.'s regional office and distribution center, and the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders headquarters and practice facility. The recent opening of the 150-bed West Henderson Hospital brought an estimated 750 jobs to the area and plans for future expansion are expected to further contribute to economic growth and development in the area. Brightline West, a high-speed rail linking Las Vegas to Southern California with an estimated two-hour travel time, is expected to be complete in 2028 and will be a 10-minute drive from the property.
Waterton and The NRP Group are providing equity commitments while CIBC is providing a senior loan. The NRP Group will serve as general contractor and provide property management services. Delivery of the first residences is estimated for mid-year 2027 with completion targeted for early 2028.
