English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Long Beach, CA

When it comes to buying purebred puppies, there are a lot of breeds and questions to consider. Do you want an outdoor pup or one that spends its time indoors? Are you looking for a tiny dog you can take with you everywhere or a larger breed you can lay with on the couch? Of all the purebred puppies to choose from, none are quite like the English bulldog. Their sourmug face might not be for everyone, but if your ideal version of man's best friend is a snorty, stocky ball of wrinkles that loves to lounge, a bulldog could be perfect for you.

Bulldogs are beloved for their unique looks and charming personalities. They have strong reputations for being loyal companions, making them incredibly popular for families and individuals alike. There's just something about their squishy face and bowling ball body that makes you want to love and cuddle them forever. Unfortunately, finding a purebred English bulldog from your local shelter is like searching for a needle in a haystack. When you factor in the fact that many English bulldog breeders are less-than-reputable, finding the right bulldog puppies for adoption in Long Beach, CA can be challenging.

If you've been searching high and low for purebred English bulldog puppies from a responsible breeder, don't give up hope. Your search may be coming to an end sooner than you think with the help of IrresistiBulls.

While our dogs come from champion lines, they're perfect for families, provide unconditional love, and will probably be your new dinner bell, too.

Trial

It's Science, Not Trial and Error

Our cherished bulldog, Bruiser, was a unique boy. He stood out from other dogs. Like Bruiser, IrresistiBulls stands out from other breeders because we base our breeding practices on science and careful consideration.

Our goal isn't just about selling English bulldog puppies. It's to ensure that every puppy we breed excels in health, temperament, intelligence, and obedience. We don't rely on trial and error, which often yields more errors than successes. Extensive research underpins our methods to guarantee the best possible outcomes. Our dedication extends not only to the families welcoming our puppies into their homes but also to the well-being and quality of life of the puppies themselves. That's the IrresistiBulls difference.

Sire

Sire and Dams Bred for Excellence

When it comes to longevity, health, temperament, and intelligence, it all starts with the dam and sire. That's why our English bulldog sires and dams are carefully selected for their excellence, champion bloodlines, and genetic traits. We're not your run-of-the-mill English bulldog breeders in South Carolina; we've perfected our method. We genuinely care and view every puppy we bring into the world as a part of our extended family. Each one of our dogs is truly the "cream of the crop," guaranteed to pass on greatness to their offspring.

Around

World-Class Bulldog Lineage from Around the World

We meticulously breed for highly coveted traits and take proactive measures to limit traits that can lead to health conditions in your puppy. Our efforts have successfully eliminated issues such as corkscrew tails and narrow nares, ensuring a worry-free experience for our puppies and their new families.

An Improved Process of Breeding Purebred English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Long Beach, CA

Breeding any dog, especially English bulldogs, poses health concerns. We make every effort to breed English bulldogs with the desirable genetic traits while working to eliminate those that could result in health problems. The key is to avoid breeding puppies that are closely related and could potentially have genetic abnormalities.

Unfortunately, some breeders are either irresponsible or lack an understanding of the complexities involved in producing healthy English bulldog lines. We only breed dogs with the best-quality lineages and never take unnecessary risks by breeding dogs with overly similar ancestry. This approach safeguards not only our business but also the well-being of the puppies and the families who welcome them into their homes.

When you bring one of our puppies for sale into your home, you become a permanent part of our extended family.

An English Bulldog Breeders' Guide to Bringing Home Your Furry Friend

Buying English bulldog puppies for sale in Long Beach, CA is a joyful and exciting experience. Whether you're a single pup parent or have a family with children, you'll love your new bulldogs' affectionate, loyal nature and will laugh out loud at their quirky attitude. However, bringing a bulldog puppy home necessitates careful forethought and organization to guarantee a seamless adjustment for both you and your new furry pal. Keep these essential tips in mind when it's time to bring your bulldog puppy to your den.

Safe Space

Create a Safe Space

Choose a cozy and secure spot in your home for your bulldog puppy to relax and feel at ease. You might want to opt for a crate or a puppy playpen to create a snug and den-like space for them.

Supplies

Stock Up on Supplies

Gather essential supplies such as water and food, nutritious and high-quality puppy food, a leash and a collar, bedding, chew toys, and grooming items. If you're worried about overdoing it, don't fret. It's better to be overprepared and have extra than to be underprepared and need more supplies.

Puppy-Proof

Puppy-Proof Your Property

It's important to get your home ready for your new bulldog puppies before they arrive. English bulldog pups are inquisitive by nature and love to play, so expect some high-energy bonding early on. Clear away any small objects that could be swallowed, hide electrical cords, and remove any toxic plants to keep them safe.

In the first few days, weeks, and sometimes months, it can be challenging to adjust to having a new puppy at home. Settling

Settling In After the First Few Days

During the initial days following the arrival of your bulldog puppy, it's essential to focus on establishing a nurturing environment and a consistent routine to build a strong bond. Here are some helpful tips to help your puppy settle in smoothly.

Routine

Get a Routine Going ASAP

If there's one thing bulldogs thrive on (besides nutritious, yummy food), it's a routine. After you've been with your new bulldog puppy for a few days, try creating a schedule. Plan out time for eating, bathroom breaks, training, and playing. We should note that it's important to create a schedule that can be incorporated into your family's routine. You don't need to rearrange your life, but you will need to cater to your new doggo to an extent.

Remain Calm

Try to Remain Calm and Patient

If you had to move to a new home when you were very young, you probably have an idea how a bulldog puppy would feel, too. It can be overwhelming - not just for your bulldog, but for you too. That's why you should try to be as patient and calm as possible while your new addition gets acclimated to their new surroundings.

Whether you're an experienced dog owner or a newcomer, bringing your puppy into their new home should be nothing but a joyful occasion. At IrresistiBulls, we're happy to help make sure you don't go home in a tizzy. That way, you can focus on spending time with your bulldog puppy and creating a loving home from day one.

Top 5 Reasons to Consider English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Long Beach, CA

Bulldogs are undeniably one of the most adored dog breeds in the world. Their wrinkled faces, stocky bods, and fun personalities have endeared them to dog lovers everywhere. Have you ever met an English bulldog owner who didn't love their pup? We haven't. If you're still on the fence about buying a bulldog puppy for you or your family, you may want to re-think that stance after reading these reasons.

Like, seriously adorable. The wrinkles. The jowls. The saggy eyes. Bulldogs epitomize "Aww, how cute!" especially when they're young. There's just something about grabbing a big wrinkly head and planting a huge kiss right in the middle.

Playful Bulldog Images Long Beach, CA

Generally speaking, bulldogs are great pets for kids. That's because they're incredibly calm, fiercely devoted, and, well, lazy. A screaming, tugging child doesn't faze them. They'll even let little ones dress them in cowboy hats and tutus without batting an eye.

 Family-friendly Bulldogs Long Beach, CA

Owning a bulldog means there's rarely a dull moment in your home. Whether they're snoring so loud it puts your sleep apnea to shame or interrupting your thoughts with a little flatulence, English bulldogs will make you smile even if you're in a bad mood.

Make no mistake - bulldogs must get exercise to remain healthy. However, when given the choice, many bulldogs would rather curl up on the couch with you than go for a multi-mile run.

English Bulldog Puppies Long Beach, CA

If you think breeds like border collies get all the credit for being smart, think again. Have you ever seen a border collie ride a skateboard or surf a wave? Probably not - but bulldogs are known for such feats. That's due in part to their low center of gravity, but it's mostly because bulldogs are so cool.

Amidst SoCal immigration raids, ÓRALE urges Long Beach to step up protections

Long Beach’s immigration rights organization and rapid response network ÓRALE (Organizing Rooted in Abolition, Liberation & Empowerment) is once again asking the City to increase funding and protections for Long Beach’s immigrant population amidst raids in Los Angeles and surrounding cities.Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) performed immigration raids in the fashion district of downtown Los Angeles, and at a Home Depot in th...

Long Beach’s immigration rights organization and rapid response network ÓRALE (Organizing Rooted in Abolition, Liberation & Empowerment) is once again asking the City to increase funding and protections for Long Beach’s immigrant population amidst raids in Los Angeles and surrounding cities.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) performed immigration raids in the fashion district of downtown Los Angeles, and at a Home Depot in the Westlake District Friday morning. At least 40 people were detained by federal agents, including local labor union president David Huerta, who as of Saturday evening has not been released.

Huerta was arrested for obstructing access from federal agents, U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli told KTLA5.

Over 1,000 Los Angeles residents responded with protests on Friday, which are still ongoing as of 5 p.m. Saturday. On Saturday morning, ICE agents moved into surrounding cities, including Paramount. As of 5 p.m. on Saturday, Paramount residents are still protesting ICE’s presence in front of the Home Depot on Alondra Boulevard in Paramount.

Mayor Rex Richardson posted his response to the Los Angeles raids on social media on Friday evening, writing, “Today, we saw the news that ICE conducted widespread raids across Los Angeles County at court appointments, workplaces, and on the streets. While no activity has yet been reported in Long Beach, this operation is deeply troubling. Officers arrive without warning while masked and without identification, leaving just as quickly. These raids instill fear in residents, communities, and profoundly damage public trust. We are in contact with local immigrant rights organizations and stand ready to support our immigrant communities.”

ÓRALE, which works to provide immigrants with legal aid and help families in detention centers, have been asking Long Beach for longterm, structural funds for years. The organization’s Justice Fund, which helps to pay for immigrant’s legal services while they fight deportation, is currently funded through one-time dollars.

The Justice Fund was created in 2019, and expanded last year with a $1.4 million allocation. ÓRALE has been asking the City to invest another $2.2 million for legal support for Long Beach’s immigrant population.

The organization posted a message on its social media channels on Friday night, again urging the City to take action, saying, “Mayor Richardson’s response to today’s ICE raids shows he understands the fear ICE is purposely instilling in immigrant communities. But Long Beach needs more than awareness. We need ACTION … The raids happened in LA today. They could happen in Long Beach tomorrow. Every day that goes by, the need grows more urgent.”

Roughly 1/4 of Long Beach residents, or around 111,000 people, are immigrants, according to the U.S. Census. Around 54,000 of these people are undocumented, according to a March 2025 study from the Vera Institute of Justice. That same study estimates that Long Beach immigrants make up 28% of the city’s labor force, and roughly 7,000 immigrants are entrepreneurs in Long Beach.

The Filipino Migrant Center, which serves Filipino immigrants in Long Beach and is part of the Justice Fund Coalition, also posted a message on social media calling for the City to further invest in the Justice Fund.

Along with the Justice Fund, ÓRALE has also enlisted Long Beach residents who are U.S. citizens for its rapid response network. These people respond to reports of ICE in the city to make sure people are aware of their rights.

ÓRALE also has a hotline 562-245-9575 for residents to report possible ICE activity. Members of ÓRALE and rapid response volunteers then travel to the location reported to confirm or deny the activity.

“The question isn’t whether ICE will come to Long Beach. The question is: Will our city be ready to stand up for immigrant families when they do,” ÓRALE’s statement continued.

LONG BEACH, CA — A plan to establish a water taxi between Long Beach and San Pedro in time for the 2028 Olympics is now one step closer to reality after a committee vote to explore the feasibility of the idea.

The Metro's Ad-Hoc Committee on the Olympic and Paralympic Games on Wednesday unanimously approved the decision to explore the water taxi proposal made by Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn in April. Hahn serves as the chair of the Metro Board of Directors and chair of Metro’s Ad-Hoc Committee.

Hanh's proposal came after Long Beach officials announced the city was selected to host 11 sporting events during the 2028 LA Olympics.

"If we are serious about people taking transit to every Olympic event, we need to get creative," Hahn said in a statement Wednesday. "The water taxi's time has come."

The idea would be to offer an "innovative" public transportation system for San Pedro and surrounding communities to get to Long Beach without worrying about traffic congestion along city streets, freeways or the Vincent Thomas Bridge, according to Hahn.

"It would offer residents, workers and tourists an alternative to driving and parking at the Games venues that's not only reliable and affordable, but fun as well," Hahn said. "It's time to explore what it would take to get this idea off the ground and into the water.

The idea for a water taxi isn't new or out of the ordinary for the area.

Long Beach Transit currently has an AquaBus and AquaLink that serve as alternative transportation across the city's shoreline.

Before the construction of the Vincent Thomas Bridge, a ferry service between San Pedro and Terminal Island connected the two areas between 1941 and 1963, according to the Los Angeles Maritime Museum. The ferry was operated by private and municipal companies, providing transportation for workers, residents and commuters, Hahn said.

A Long Beach woman announced her early retirement in February, after she had the surprise of a lifetime when she won a whopping $1 million with a lottery scratcher ticket.

Julie Bass, who was celebrating her 25th work anniversary with a friend, was playing some scratcher tickets and not finding much success.

"I had scratched my five-dollar ones, and I told her,' I'm not winning!' Bass told the California Lottery. "She says, 'Oh Miss Julie, you have two more back there.'"

She scratched one of her tickets, thinking that she won a free ticket. On second look she thought she won $1,000. She didn't realize how much she won until her friend's excitement.

Bass had purchased a Triple Red 777 scratcher from the Golden Moon convenience store on Anaheim Street in Long Beach, which wound up totaling $1 million.

The win changed the entire course of Bass' life. Instead of waiting two more years to retire, she decided to do so immediately.

"I started my job as a clerk, and now that I'm a manager, I felt my reward was my seven promotions," she told lottery officials. "But He showed me that day, 'No, I got something else for you.' And that was a million dollars."

Though she said she doesn't feel like she's a lucky person, she does believe she's "especially blessed"

She plans on purchasing a home near her only daughter, something she had already been planning on.

It has taken more than a year for current and former residents of the City of Long Beach in California to learn that some of their personally identifiable and protected health information was compromised in a cyberattack. Notifications have been sent to multiple U.S. states confirming that the information of 470,060 individuals was exposed and potentially stolen in the attack. That figure includes 258,191 individuals whose protected health information was compromised. No ransomware group is known to have claimed responsibility for the attack.

The cyberattack was detected on or around November 14, 2023, and the forensic investigation confirmed on March 18, 2024, that sensitive data had been accessed or acquired by the threat actor. It then took a further 13 months before notification letters were mailed to the affected individuals. City officials confirmed that notification letters started to be mailed on April 14, 2025.

City officials explained that most of the affected systems were restored and brought back online within a matter of weeks after the attack was detected, and while confirmation of unauthorized access to data was confirmed in March 2024, in an October 7, 2024, update, the city explained that third party cybersecurity professionals were still trying to determine the nature and scope of the data stolen in the attack. The city explained in the notice that complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services would be offered to individuals whose Social Security numbers were involved. “This process of identifying specific individuals’ sensitive information is incredibly detailed, time-intensive, can be lengthy, and has been ongoing to date,” explained city officials in the October 2024 notice. “Progress is being made, and the process may be close to completion in the upcoming months.”

In the latest notification, city officials explained that between the attack and April 14, 2025, there have been no indications that any of the impacted information has been misused for the purpose of committing identity theft or fraud, and said the notification letters were being issued as required by law and out of an abundance of caution. Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson said, “This has proven to be an unprecedented event for our organization, and we continue to take this investigation and its findings seriously.” The individual notifications confirm that credit monitoring and identity theft protection services are being provided for 12 months to individuals whose Social Security numbers were compromised.
