English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Midland, TX

When it comes to buying purebred puppies, there are a lot of breeds and questions to consider. Do you want an outdoor pup or one that spends its time indoors? Are you looking for a tiny dog you can take with you everywhere or a larger breed you can lay with on the couch? Of all the purebred puppies to choose from, none are quite like the English bulldog. Their sourmug face might not be for everyone, but if your ideal version of man's best friend is a snorty, stocky ball of wrinkles that loves to lounge, a bulldog could be perfect for you.

Bulldogs are beloved for their unique looks and charming personalities. They have strong reputations for being loyal companions, making them incredibly popular for families and individuals alike. There's just something about their squishy face and bowling ball body that makes you want to love and cuddle them forever. Unfortunately, finding a purebred English bulldog from your local shelter is like searching for a needle in a haystack. When you factor in the fact that many English bulldog breeders are less-than-reputable, finding the right bulldog puppies for adoption in Midland, TX can be challenging.

If you've been searching high and low for purebred English bulldog puppies from a responsible breeder, don't give up hope. Your search may be coming to an end sooner than you think with the help of IrresistiBulls.

Trial

It's Science, Not Trial and Error

Our cherished bulldog, Bruiser, was a unique boy. He stood out from other dogs. Like Bruiser, IrresistiBulls stands out from other breeders because we base our breeding practices on science and careful consideration.

Our goal isn't just about selling English bulldog puppies. It's to ensure that every puppy we breed excels in health, temperament, intelligence, and obedience. Around

World-Class Bulldog Lineage from Around the World

We meticulously breed for highly coveted traits and take proactive measures to limit traits that can lead to health conditions in your puppy. Our efforts have successfully eliminated issues such as corkscrew tails and narrow nares, ensuring a worry-free experience for our puppies and their new families.

An Improved Process of Breeding Purebred English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Midland, TX

Breeding any dog, especially English bulldogs, poses health concerns. We make every effort to breed English bulldogs with the desirable genetic traits while working to eliminate those that could result in health problems. The key is to avoid breeding puppies that are closely related and could potentially have genetic abnormalities.

Unfortunately, some breeders are either irresponsible or lack an understanding of the complexities involved in producing healthy English bulldog lines. We only breed dogs with the best-quality lineages and never take unnecessary risks by breeding dogs with overly similar ancestry. This approach safeguards not only our business but also the well-being of the puppies and the families who welcome them into their homes.

Buying English bulldog puppies for sale in Midland, TX is a joyful and exciting experience. Whether you're a single pup parent or have a family with children, you'll love your new bulldogs' affectionate, loyal nature and will laugh out loud at their quirky attitude. However, bringing a bulldog puppy home necessitates careful forethought and organization to guarantee a seamless adjustment for both you and your new furry pal. Keep these essential tips in mind when it's time to bring your bulldog puppy to your den.

Safe Space

Create a Safe Space

Choose a cozy and secure spot in your home for your bulldog puppy to relax and feel at ease. You might want to opt for a crate or a puppy playpen to create a snug and den-like space for them.

Supplies

Stock Up on Supplies

Gather essential supplies such as water and food, nutritious and high-quality puppy food, a leash and a collar, bedding, chew toys, and grooming items. If you're worried about overdoing it, don't fret. It's better to be overprepared and have extra than to be underprepared and need more supplies.

Puppy-Proof

Puppy-Proof Your Property

It's important to get your home ready for your new bulldog puppies before they arrive. English bulldog pups are inquisitive by nature and love to play, so expect some high-energy bonding early on. Clear away any small objects that could be swallowed, hide electrical cords, and remove any toxic plants to keep them safe.

Make the Most Out of Our Puppy Starter Kits

In the first few days, weeks, and sometimes months, it can be challenging to adjust to having a new puppy at home. Puppies are quite complex, and just like with any newborn, having reliable guidance and essential tools isn't just a luxury - it alleviates stress and makes the process of welcoming and training the puppy much smoother. At IrresistiBulls, we offer a puppy starter kit to provide you with the necessary information on puppy care, the resources you may require along the way, and, of course, an assortment of toys to enrich the bonding experience with your new furry friend.

Settling

Settling In After the First Few Days

During the initial days following the arrival of your bulldog puppy, it's essential to focus on establishing a nurturing environment and a consistent routine to build a strong bond. Here are some helpful tips to help your puppy settle in smoothly.

Routine

Get a Routine Going ASAP

If there's one thing bulldogs thrive on (besides nutritious, yummy food), it's a routine. After you've been with your new bulldog puppy for a few days, try creating a schedule. Plan out time for eating, bathroom breaks, training, and playing. We should note that it's important to create a schedule that can be incorporated into your family's routine. You don't need to rearrange your life, but you will need to cater to your new doggo to an extent.

Remain Calm

Try to Remain Calm and Patient

If you had to move to a new home when you were very young, you probably have an idea how a bulldog puppy would feel, too. It can be overwhelming - not just for your bulldog, but for you too. That's why you should try to be as patient and calm as possible while your new addition gets acclimated to their new surroundings.

Whether you're an experienced dog owner or a newcomer, bringing your puppy into their new home should be nothing but a joyful occasion. At IrresistiBulls, we're happy to help make sure you don't go home in a tizzy. That way, you can focus on spending time with your bulldog puppy and creating a loving home from day one.

Top 5 Reasons to Consider English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Midland, TX

Bulldogs are undeniably one of the most adored dog breeds in the world. Their wrinkled faces, stocky bods, and fun personalities have endeared them to dog lovers everywhere. Have you ever met an English bulldog owner who didn't love their pup? We haven't. If you're still on the fence about buying a bulldog puppy for you or your family, you may want to re-think that stance after reading these reasons.

Like, seriously adorable. The wrinkles. The jowls. The saggy eyes. Bulldogs epitomize "Aww, how cute!" especially when they're young. There's just something about grabbing a big wrinkly head and planting a huge kiss right in the middle.

 Playful Bulldog Images Midland, TX

Generally speaking, bulldogs are great pets for kids. That's because they're incredibly calm, fiercely devoted, and, well, lazy. A screaming, tugging child doesn't faze them. They'll even let little ones dress them in cowboy hats and tutus without batting an eye.

 Family-friendly Bulldogs Midland, TX

Owning a bulldog means there's rarely a dull moment in your home. Whether they're snoring so loud it puts your sleep apnea to shame or interrupting your thoughts with a little flatulence, English bulldogs will make you smile even if you're in a bad mood.

Bulldog Puppies In Midland Midland, TX

Make no mistake - bulldogs must get exercise to remain healthy. However, when given the choice, many bulldogs would rather curl up on the couch with you than go for a multi-mile run.

English Bulldog Puppies Midland, TX

If you think breeds like border collies get all the credit for being smart, think again. Have you ever seen a border collie ride a skateboard or surf a wave? Probably not - but bulldogs are known for such feats. That's due in part to their low center of gravity, but it's mostly because bulldogs are so cool.

MIDLAND, Texas — Former President Donald Trump was at the Midland Country Club Wednesday for a fundraising luncheon.

Trump arrived by plane Wednesday morning at the Midland International Airport with supporters looking on. While he was getting off the plane, he was greeted by Congressman August Pfluger.

After meeting with the former president, Congressman Pfluger gave NewsWest 9 the following statement:

“It was an incredible honor to be the first to welcome President Donald J. Trump to the Permian Basin alongside my wife Camille. President Trump gets it. On day one, he’s going to stand up and unleash American energy again. There are a lot of similarities between West Texans and President Trump. We aren’t strangers to being knocked down with the boom and bust cycle; but we always get back up to provide the energy our country depends on. President Trump is exactly the same. He has battled a politicized justice department and two assassination attempts this year alone. But he always gets back up and fights for this country. We need President Trump back in the Oval Office. I was proud to show off the Permian Basin and to have our folks show up to support in a big way.” - August Pfluger, Congressman (TX-11)

Then, Trump was taken by motorcade with Secret Service and Texas Department of Public Safety to the Midland Country Club for the fundraising luncheon for several hours. The motorcade arrived to the country club approximately at 12 p.m.

One Midland couple waited nearly three hours across the road to welcome the former president, saying they learned about his visit Wednesday morning.

"I was excited, I appreciate he comes to small communities and not just focuses on the large cities," said Susie Caraveo, one of the several Trump supporters waiting for former President Donald Trump's arrival.

Another supporter arrived just in time to witness the motorcade exit the Midland Country Club with her family. Bre Pahany, a Trump supporter from Midland, shared it was a once in a lifetime moment for her.

"I hope that he takes away in light of everything that's kind of happened and the attempts on his life that there are still a lot of people out here that really love and care about him and want to see him be successful and do great things for his country," said Pahany.

After leaving the Permian Basin, Trump traveled to Houston.

The lawsuit claims that the city and MISD violated city zoning ordinances by attempting to turn the Ranchland Hills Golf Course into a new Midland High School.

MIDLAND, Texas — Three Midlanders have filed a lawsuit against the City of Midland, Midland Independent School District, Assistant City Manager Chris Saladine and Building Official Jeff Pinkstaff.

Those three Midlanders are Lynda Jackson, Jonathan Rojo and Kristi Alldredge.

The lawsuit filed Monday states that the city and MISD violated city zoning ordinances by attempting to build a new Midland High School on the land that sits the Ranchland Hills Golf Course. In 2023, citizens in Midland voted to pass a $1.4 billion bond that would allow them to do that.

The Midlanders say in the lawsuit that the Ranchland Hills Golf Course is "not only to the demand and support of the community, but also to the Midland City Council's enactment of Ordinance 6855 in 1988.

According to the lawsuit, below is what the zoning ordinance states:

"That the only use of the property shall be as a private membership recreational club, including a clubhouse for country club activities, such as dining, dancing, receptions and meetings, and facilities for recreational clothing and equipment, all for the use of members and guests. There shall be no other use permitted of the property."

NewsWest 9 has reached out to Midland ISD regarding the zoning ordinance and this is what they said:

"Midland ISD is fully aware of the ordinance. Texas State Law exempts school districts from municipal zoning restrictions." - Midland Independent School District

According to Sam Eaton with Midland ISD communications, if the land is being used for public education, they can use it as so.

NewsWest 9 looked up Midland Assistant City Manager Chris Saladine and there is no trace of a Chris Saladine in Midland, Texas. However, NewsWest 9 found Saladine to work for the city of Midland, Michigan, according to the City of Midland, Michigan's website.

At 4:54 p.m. Tuesday, Midland ISD sent a thorough statement on the district-owned land that is determined to become a new Midland High School:

"Midland ISD is aware of the petition circulating throughout the community related to the district-owned property at 1600 E. Wadley Ave.; however, the district has not been formally served. The district stands firm in its belief that it not only is within its legal right, but also has a responsibility to parents and taxpayers, to proceed with the voter-approved construction of the Bond 2023 projects as communicated to the public when the property was purchased in 2019 and throughout the bond. The capital improvement projects will provide Midland students safety and security upgrades, address enrollment growth and allow for the all-important grade reconfiguration that will move 6th graders to middle schools and provide a traditional 9th-12th grade model.

Midland ISD has made a commitment to the community to stay on time and on budget with the bond projects and looks forward to continuing to honor the 2023 bond timeframes, budgets, and projects that have been committed to voters. Assuming the current general construction inflation rate estimate for the Midland-Odessa area is 7%, a delay in these projects would equate to a projected $2.4 million increase in construction costs every month to deliver on the same projects that were promised to the Midland community following the approval of the bond in November of 2023.

The district is proud to have already saved taxpayers approximately $310 million in interest through the recent bond sale as compared to the planning estimates as a result of investor demand and a sound financial rating. Additionally, since 2012, the district has saved taxpayers $92 million through refinancing and defeasing existing debt.

We look forward to the upcoming groundbreakings for the new campuses that will take place in the summer of 2025 and welcoming students and staff in 2028." - Midland Independent School District

MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Gary Wilson, a Midlander who has advocated to ‘Save Ranchland Hills’ confirmed to First Alert 7 a lawsuit was filed on Monday, September 30.

On September 24, Wilson spoke with First Alert 7, saying that if a letter of violation was not issued to stop Midland ISD from closing the golf course on September 30, there was a possibility a lawsuit.

Wilson told First Alert 7 the lawsuit was filed against the City of Midland and Midland ISD in Midland County.

Just before 5 p.m. on September 30, Midland ISD sent a statement to First Alert 7 saying:

Midland ISD is unaware of a lawsuit filed regarding the district-owned property at 1600 E. Wadley Avenue.

Midland ISD

Last week the City of Midland released a statement saying leaders were calling for all parties to sit down together to discuss options for the golf course and school district.

Midland ISD also released a statement on September 25, that read, “Midland ISD was surprised to learn of the suggested mediation proposed by the mayor after previously receiving confirmation by the City of Midland’s attorney that there are insufficient legal grounds for action to deviate from the voter-approved plan to build a new high school at the district-owned property of 1600 E. Wadley Ave."

The City of Midland confirmed to First Alert 7 on September 30, that the city attorney says that comment to MISD “did not come from the city attorney.”

CORRECTION: A previous version of this article included section of MISD’s statement from September 25, that could be interpreted as coming directly from the City of Midland’s Attorney. Midland ISD has clarified to First Alert 7 that “The district’s statement was an interpretation of conversations held between the two entities.”

The district also told First Alert 7, “The district stands firm in its belief that it not only is within its legal right, but also has a responsibility to parents and taxpayers, to proceed with the voter-approved construction of the Bond 2023 projects as communicated to the public when the property was purchased in 2019 and throughout the bond. The capital improvement projects will provide Midland students safety and security upgrades, address enrollment growth and allow for the all-important grade reconfiguration that will move 6th graders to middle schools and provide a traditional 9th-12th grade model. The new high schools are on schedule to open in August 2028.”

First Alert 7 also spoke with a parent of MISD students, who said the district has owned the land since 2019 and were clear about what it would be used for.

First Alert 7 News will be following this story as it develops.
