Cocoa, FL (April 11, 2025) – Emergency responders were called to a crash with injuries Friday morning near the intersection of Grissom Pkwy and Miramar St in Cocoa. While the roadway remained open to traffic, the incident resulted in injuries that required immediate medical attention.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash was dispatched at 9:57 a.m. Emergency crews from Cocoa Fire Rescue and local EMS units responded promptly, despite the arrival time not being formally recorded in the traffic feed. Upon arrival, medics assessed those injured at the scene and provided care for various injuries sustained in the collision. At least one person was transported to a local medical facility for further treatment.
The vehicles involved were quickly moved to the shoulder, and traffic along Grissom Pkwy remained unaffected. Although no roadblock occurred, the incident prompted brief delays and increased caution for passing drivers.
Authorities are actively investigating the cause of the crash, including possible contributing factors such as driver distraction, speed, or failure to yield. As of this report, no charges or citations have been issued, and the extent of the injuries remains under review.
