When it comes to buying purebred puppies, there are a lot of breeds and questions to consider. Do you want an outdoor pup or one that spends its time indoors? Are you looking for a tiny dog you can take with you everywhere or a larger breed you can lay with on the couch? Of all the purebred puppies to choose from, none are quite like the English bulldog. Their sourmug face might not be for everyone, but if your ideal version of man's best friend is a snorty, stocky ball of wrinkles that loves to lounge, a bulldog could be perfect for you.
Bulldogs are beloved for their unique looks and charming personalities. They have strong reputations for being loyal companions, making them incredibly popular for families and individuals alike. There's just something about their squishy face and bowling ball body that makes you want to love and cuddle them forever. Unfortunately, finding a purebred English bulldog from your local shelter is like searching for a needle in a haystack. When you factor in the fact that many English bulldog breeders are less-than-reputable, finding the right bulldog puppies for adoption in Murfreesboro, TN can be challenging.
If you've been searching high and low for purebred English bulldog puppies from a responsible breeder, don't give up hope. Your search may be coming to an end sooner than you think with the help of IrresistiBulls.
IrresistiBulls was born out of love for the English bulldog who first graced our world, Bruiser. It became our mission to spread the joy he afforded us to families around the nation. We pride ourselves on being more than just breeders; we're a lifelong support system for our families. Unlike many competitors, we stay in touch with each family that purchases from us. We make it a point to offer expert tips and tricks for any challenges that may arise, which can help save you time, money, and a trip to the vet.
At IrresistiBulls, breeding English bulldogs isn't just a career choice. It's a passion. When you welcome a bulldog pup from our program into your home, you're not just getting any dog - you're gaining a remarkable English bulldog with a documented lineage of health, intelligence, and obedience - as well as all the hallmark traits that make English bulldogs beloved. While our dogs come from champion lines, they're perfect for families, provide unconditional love, and will probably be your new dinner bell, too.
Our cherished bulldog, Bruiser, was a unique boy. He stood out from other dogs. Like Bruiser, IrresistiBulls stands out from other breeders because we base our breeding practices on science and careful consideration.
Our goal isn't just about selling English bulldog puppies. It's to ensure that every puppy we breed excels in health, temperament, intelligence, and obedience. We don't rely on trial and error, which often yields more errors than successes. Extensive research underpins our methods to guarantee the best possible outcomes. Our dedication extends not only to the families welcoming our puppies into their homes but also to the well-being and quality of life of the puppies themselves. That's the IrresistiBulls difference.
When it comes to longevity, health, temperament, and intelligence, it all starts with the dam and sire. That's why our English bulldog sires and dams are carefully selected for their excellence, champion bloodlines, and genetic traits. We're not your run-of-the-mill English bulldog breeders in South Carolina; we've perfected our method. We genuinely care and view every puppy we bring into the world as a part of our extended family. Each one of our dogs is truly the "cream of the crop," guaranteed to pass on greatness to their offspring.
Simply put, we truly care about our bulldogs and the families that build cherished memories with them. We're incredibly thankful to have worked with so many amazing clients who trust our process and value our commitment to the health and wellness of our bulldog pups. Our wonderful clients recommend their friends and family members to IrresistiBulls because we prioritize:
When you buy from IrresistiBulls, you can rest easy knowing you're getting the best of the best. We take pride in ethically breeding our puppies by using champion bloodlines from different parts of the world. By doing this, we reduce the chances of our puppies inheriting common health issues that can affect English bulldogs. Our puppies come from well-regarded show dog ancestry from countries like Ukraine, Spain, and Russia, to name a few.
We meticulously breed for highly coveted traits and take proactive measures to limit traits that can lead to health conditions in your puppy. Our efforts have successfully eliminated issues such as corkscrew tails and narrow nares, ensuring a worry-free experience for our puppies and their new families.
Breeding any dog, especially English bulldogs, poses health concerns. We make every effort to breed English bulldogs with the desirable genetic traits while working to eliminate those that could result in health problems. The key is to avoid breeding puppies that are closely related and could potentially have genetic abnormalities.
Unfortunately, some breeders are either irresponsible or lack an understanding of the complexities involved in producing healthy English bulldog lines. We only breed dogs with the best-quality lineages and never take unnecessary risks by breeding dogs with overly similar ancestry. This approach safeguards not only our business but also the well-being of the puppies and the families who welcome them into their homes.
When you bring one of our puppies for sale into your home, you become a permanent part of our extended family.
Our IrresistiBulls are usually reserved before the litter is even born. Securing a spot on our reservation list is essential once we confirm a pregnancy. While we strive to honor all reservations, sometimes we have to leave it to nature, so there are no guarantees regarding litter arrivals and viability. However, once you've reserved your new English bulldog puppy, we'll keep you informed every step of the way. As English bulldog lovers, we understand your excitement about welcoming a new addition to your family. That's why we do our best to minimize the uncertainties and challenges that can arise during the breeding process.

Buying English bulldog puppies for sale in Murfreesboro, TN is a joyful and exciting experience. Whether you're a single pup parent or have a family with children, you'll love your new bulldogs' affectionate, loyal nature and will laugh out loud at their quirky attitude. However, bringing a bulldog puppy home necessitates careful forethought and organization to guarantee a seamless adjustment for both you and your new furry pal. Keep these essential tips in mind when it's time to bring your bulldog puppy to your den.
Choose a cozy and secure spot in your home for your bulldog puppy to relax and feel at ease. You might want to opt for a crate or a puppy playpen to create a snug and den-like space for them.
Gather essential supplies such as water and food, nutritious and high-quality puppy food, a leash and a collar, bedding, chew toys, and grooming items. If you're worried about overdoing it, don't fret. It's better to be overprepared and have extra than to be underprepared and need more supplies.
It's important to get your home ready for your new bulldog puppies before they arrive. English bulldog pups are inquisitive by nature and love to play, so expect some high-energy bonding early on. Clear away any small objects that could be swallowed, hide electrical cords, and remove any toxic plants to keep them safe.
Bulldog puppies for adoption in Murfreesboro, TN from IrresistiBulls arrive at your home having had all the proper shots and worming medicines required. However, you should already have a follow-up visit scheduled with your vet before your new family member arrives. Doing so will help you and your vet get on the same page regarding deworming, vaccinations, and preventative healthcare plans.
In the first few days, weeks, and sometimes months, it can be challenging to adjust to having a new puppy at home. Puppies are quite complex, and just like with any newborn, having reliable guidance and essential tools isn't just a luxury - it alleviates stress and makes the process of welcoming and training the puppy much smoother. At IrresistiBulls, we offer a puppy starter kit to provide you with the necessary information on puppy care, the resources you may require along the way, and, of course, an assortment of toys to enrich the bonding experience with your new furry friend.
During the initial days following the arrival of your bulldog puppy, it's essential to focus on establishing a nurturing environment and a consistent routine to build a strong bond. Here are some helpful tips to help your puppy settle in smoothly.
If there's one thing bulldogs thrive on (besides nutritious, yummy food), it's a routine. After you've been with your new bulldog puppy for a few days, try creating a schedule. Plan out time for eating, bathroom breaks, training, and playing. We should note that it's important to create a schedule that can be incorporated into your family's routine. You don't need to rearrange your life, but you will need to cater to your new doggo to an extent.
If you had to move to a new home when you were very young, you probably have an idea how a bulldog puppy would feel, too. It can be overwhelming - not just for your bulldog, but for you too. That's why you should try to be as patient and calm as possible while your new addition gets acclimated to their new surroundings.
Whether you're an experienced dog owner or a newcomer, bringing your puppy into their new home should be nothing but a joyful occasion. At IrresistiBulls, we're happy to help make sure you don't go home in a tizzy. That way, you can focus on spending time with your bulldog puppy and creating a loving home from day one.
Bulldogs are undeniably one of the most adored dog breeds in the world. Their wrinkled faces, stocky bods, and fun personalities have endeared them to dog lovers everywhere. Have you ever met an English bulldog owner who didn't love their pup? We haven't. If you're still on the fence about buying a bulldog puppy for you or your family, you may want to re-think that stance after reading these reasons.
Like, seriously adorable. The wrinkles. The jowls. The saggy eyes. Bulldogs epitomize "Aww, how cute!" especially when they're young. There's just something about grabbing a big wrinkly head and planting a huge kiss right in the middle.
Generally speaking, bulldogs are great pets for kids. That's because they're incredibly calm, fiercely devoted, and, well, lazy. A screaming, tugging child doesn't faze them. They'll even let little ones dress them in cowboy hats and tutus without batting an eye.
Owning a bulldog means there's rarely a dull moment in your home. Whether they're snoring so loud it puts your sleep apnea to shame or interrupting your thoughts with a little flatulence, English bulldogs will make you smile even if you're in a bad mood.
Make no mistake - bulldogs must get exercise to remain healthy. However, when given the choice, many bulldogs would rather curl up on the couch with you than go for a multi-mile run.
If you think breeds like border collies get all the credit for being smart, think again. Have you ever seen a border collie ride a skateboard or surf a wave? Probably not - but bulldogs are known for such feats. That's due in part to their low center of gravity, but it's mostly because bulldogs are so cool.
When you trust IrresistiBulls as your bulldog puppy breeder, we believe it's our privilege and duty to provide you with a healthy, happy dog. Every English bulldog we ship in the U.S. is both a part of our beloved Bruiser and also a new part of your family's heart. At the end of the day, our goal is for you to discover your new companion, family mascot, or hot mess without having to worry about shady practices or inconvenient logistics.
We know you'll fall in love as soon as you lay eyes on your new IrresistiBull, just like we did when Bruiser blessed our lives. Contact our office today to learn more about what separates us from other breeders and how we can make your English bulldog ownership dreams come true.

MURFREESBORO, TN - After years of pleading, letter-writing, and road-tripping to Cool Springs, Green Hills, and anywhere with an Hawaiian theme as you enter the doors, Murfreesboro residents can finally breathe a collective sigh of relief: Trader Joe’s is opening its doors in Rutherford County. No more packing a cooler for a 70-mile trek just to score your favorite Mandarin Orange Chicken or that oddly addictive cookie butter. On Thursday, April 10, the store at 2305 Medical Center Parkway will hold its grand opening with a ribbon cutting at 8 a.m., and yes—everyone is invited (even if you still don’t know what ghee is).
This marks the fourth Trader Joe’s location in Middle Tennessee, joining Franklin, Green Hills, and West Nashville – and the seventh location for Tennessee. But for locals, this opening is more than just a new place to buy groceries—it’s a cultural milestone. And with that milestone comes a fresh set of identity questions, such as: What do you call someone who's just a little too enthusiastic about Trader Joe’s? According to the fan base, “Trader Tot” is the title bestowed upon shoppers who make regular pilgrimages to the store. We’re talking bi-monthly visits, enthusiastic shopping hauls, and enough frozen naan to host a small festival.
The opening of this store even came with infrastructure improvements, thanks to the developer’s construction of a new three-lane connector road from Robert Rose Drive to The Avenue. Mayor Shane McFarland expressed gratitude for the addition…
Mayor McFarland further discussed the development process when working with companies that make a difference within the community…
The Murfreesboro Trader Joe’s will have more than 65 employees, offering wages between $14 and $17 per hour. And this isn’t your average grocery gig. Trader Joe’s staff, affectionately known as “crew members,” are expected to know the products, offer samples, and—when necessary—explain why their frozen French macarons taste like Paris in a box.
Unlike other grocery stores, Trader Joe’s doesn’t hoard inventory in a back room. Products are shipped in and immediately placed on the floor, ensuring freshness and keeping the shopping experience fluid. The stores also carry fewer items, but each product is curated and taste-tested—somehow making a trip to Trader Joe’s feel more like a boutique food tour than a stock-up session.
For the trivia-minded, Trader Joe’s began in 1967 in Pasadena, California, and now operates 608 stores nationwide, with just six states left before they claim full continental dominance. Notably, they also donate 100% of unsold-yet-still-edible products to food banks every single day, proving that their cult following isn't just about quirky packaging and holiday snacks—there’s some substance behind the style.
So whether you're a lifelong Trader Tot, a soon-to-be Mango Mini-addict, or just here for the dark roast coffee and cheerful chalkboards, Murfreesboro’s new Trader Joe’s is ready to welcome you with open doors—and maybe a Hawaiian shirt or two.
Get those reusable bags ready. It's almost time.

Murfreesboro and the surrounding areas are full of Civil War history. Start your day at Stones River National Battlefield. Home to one of the largest and deadliest battles of the Civil War, The Battle of Stones River, this 570-acre space includes memorials, memorabilia and more. After, head over to Oaklands Mansion, which served as a field hospital during the war. While you’re there, you can also check out Section M of their Evergreen Cemetery, which houses a monument to honor and tell the stories of Black Soldiers who were buried in unmarked graves. A short drive away, Smyrna’s Sam Davis Home and museum gives visitors an up-close look at life during the Civil War through the eyes of Sam Davis and his family. It is full of artifacts and specially preserved architecture, and they even host free family days and tea parties for kids on occasion. And though tours are not open to the public, you can’t miss a drive by the Mary Kate Patterson house in LaVergne. Patterson served as a Confederate spy during the war and is thought to be the first woman buried in Nashville’s Confederate Circle.
We know you’ve heard all about hot chicken, but this Tennessee town has a history with hot wings, too. Celebrating 40 years in 2025, Toot’s is famed for introducing hot wings to the area, and any local will tell you it’s a must-do to try them. Deep-fried and served with your choice of sauce, these wings are tasty, delicious and unforgettable. Speaking of food, there’s plenty more to enjoy while you’re here. Slick Pig Bar-B-Que is known for its delectable meat selections – serving slow-smoked brisket, pork, ribs and even catfish with their famous sides like fried okra, cornbread, and mac and cheese. For something on the fancier side, Primrose Table and The Alley on Main never disappoint. Top it off with a sweet treat at Varin’s Sweet Shop, Simply Pure Sweets or OFLOW.
It just wouldn’t be a trip to Tennessee without experiencing what we’re known for – but there’s plenty of music to experience outside of Music City. From country and blues to rock and soul, you’ll hear a little bit of it all at Hank’s Honky Tonk. Plus, they are open until midnight on weekdays and 1 a.m. on weekends. The Boro Bar and Grill has everything you’d want in a vibey live music joint: good food, good drinks, and of course, pool tables. Their schedule is as packed as their menu, so be sure to check out online who is playing in advance. And if you happen to be visiting in May, be sure to plan your trip around the Gallagher Music Fest. Taking place right in downtown Murfreesboro, there is music on repeat, plus great food, drinks and local vendors.
Whether you’re looking for something old, new, trendy or one-of-a-kind, there’s plenty to buy around here. If you’re looking for something truly unique, the area has antique stores galore. Ralston Antiques in Eagleville, Hylabrook Antique Mall in Murfreesboro and Magnolia House Antiques in Smyrna are all sure to be full of hidden treasures. For the latest styles in clothing and accessories, head on over to Bella’s Boutique, Sugaree’s Boutique, Terri Leigh’s Boutique or Tiffany Lane Boutique, all in Murfreesboro, to get your fix. And nothing beats a local gift shop, so don’t forget to stop by Smyrna’s Buckle & Hide Leather and Murfreesboro’s Country Gourmet.
There are plenty of benefits to being outside the city, but one that truly shines here is the abundance of outdoor recreation. The county boasts 1,200 acres of greenways, perfect for walking, biking, picnicking or just exploring. Need to take a swing? Go par for the course at Murfreesboro’s golf courses at Bloomfield Links, Cedar Crest, Indian Hills or Old Fort. And if it’s too hot? No sweat (literally). Cool off at the free splash pads at the Fountains of Gateway in Murfreesboro or Gregory Mill Park in Smyrna.
This area’s creativity shines throughout the city – with arts and culture on display everywhere you turn. The Center for the Arts in Murfreesboro has a jam-packed schedule year-round, performing classics like “Cinderella” and “West Side Story” alongside more modern works like “Freaky Friday” and “Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.” If song and dance isn’t your thing, try a self-guided tour of the county’s murals. After all, there are over 100! Speaking of exploring, there are several interactive and educational museums here, including the Earth Experience – Middle Tennessee Museum of Natural History and the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring.
Did you know that Murfreesboro is the geographic center of the state? The marker is located on Old Lascassas Pike and is open to the public. So swing by, get a photo and take center stage (literally).
Whatever you choose to do here, it’s sure to be memorable. So pack your bags, take your pick and enjoy your trip to Murfreesboro.

Patient Murfreesboro shoppers lined up Thursday morning for the grand opening of Trader Joe’s on Medical Center Parkway. The Siegel High School Marching Band treated the early birds to an exclusive performance — though many could hardly hear the band as the line quickly wrapped around the entire building.
The new store marks four Middle Tennessee locations for the grocery store chain, known for unique food items as well as collectable tote bags. Construction began in June 2024 for the Murfreesboro location and residents have eagerly awaited the opening.
“I’m a really big Trader Joe’s fan,” shopper Jean Lotz said. “And being an MTSU student, this is now the closest one, instead of having to drive, like, 30 miles to Cool Springs. This is perfect.”
After crew members in Hawaiian shirts cut the grand opening ribbon with giant scissors at 8 a.m., shoppers began funneling in. Trader Joe’s employees gifted shoppers colorful leis and Tennessee-themed reusable bags.
However, these bags were not the must-have item of the event. Trader Joe’s recently released a springtime line of mini canvas tote bags in pastel colors. Despite constant restocks and a limit of 10 per customer, the store sold out at 8:42 a.m. The display was quickly taken down to make room for shoppers checking out.
Employees accommodated guests as best they could, considering the high volume of people in the store. Free samples of staple snacks, including chili and lime-flavored rolled corn tortilla chips and dark chocolate peanut butter cups, tempted customers to add more treats to their carts.
”I really like that it’s so much bigger than the other Joe’s, so it’s not as crammed,” customer Julia McCol said. “And hopefully when there’s less people, it’ll be a little bit easier to walk around in here.”
Despite the chaotic atmosphere caused by the large crowd, shoppers left smiling. Whether customers filled their baskets with fresh flowers, frozen foods or 10 tote bags, Trader Joe’s seemed to have something for everyone.

In their last Conference USA series, the Blue Raiders (19-21, 7-8 CUSA) handed No. 24 Liberty its first conference loss of the season on Friday, April 4, snapping the Flames' 12-game home winning streak. In the win, Jana Want smashed two three-run home runs, totaling six RBIs—tied for the most in a single game in MTSU program history. The mark also tied the record at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium. Leila Ammon delivered a strong performance in the circle, pitching six innings and allowing just one earned run before Mary Martinez closed out the game in the seventh.
On April 9, Middle Tennessee took care of business against Lipscomb, winning 6-3. The offense was powered by home runs from Ansley Blevins, Lexi Medlock, and Lilly Pendergrast. Jesyne Espinal pitched the final three innings for MTSU, allowing just one hit and no runs.
The Blue Raiders are currently riding a streak of 22 consecutive games with at least one home run—the longest active streak in the NCAA this season. The team has hit 48 home runs this year, setting a new single-season program record with several weeks remaining. That total ranks 28th nationally.
With a 7-8 record in CUSA play, the Blue Raiders are currently tied for sixth in the conference standings. They've already faced the top three teams and four of the top five, looking to capitalize on the remaining schedule with four weeks left in the regular season.
Several Blue Raiders rank among the best in the conference statistically. Macie Harter leads CUSA with five triples, ranking 14th nationally and closing in on the MTSU single-season record of six. Ava Tepe leads the conference in hit-by-pitches with nine—44th in the nation—and is just one shy of tying the program's career record of 37.
Scouting the opponent
Lipscomb – The 2025 WKU Hilltoppers hold a 20-16 overall record and a 6-8 mark in Conference USA play. The Blue Raiders are 31-46 all-time against WKU and have won three of the last 10 matchups. The Hilltoppers are led by head coach Amy Tudor, who is in her 12th season at the helm. Tudor has amassed over 300 wins during her time at WKU and captured the CUSA title in 2021. WKU's offense is led by Maci Masters, who paces the team in both batting average (.330) and home runs (12). The Hilltoppers rely on a three-pitcher rotation—Erica Houge, Rylan Smith, and Maddy Wood—all of whom have ERAs within 0.43 points of one another and have thrown over 60 innings.
