Cinergy has announced expansion plans for Cinergy Odessa, 8250 E. Highway 191, and confirmed it has already purchased land for the project.
Covering 5.125 acres, the expansion project consists of two parts: an outdoor area and a 13,000-square-foot building addition. The outdoor area will include turf seating areas with fire pits, a patio and an 18-hole bunkers-style mini golf course. The building, meanwhile, will feature seven batting cages, a new kitchen and bar, 45 additional arcade games and other amenities.
Rich Schwarte was recently appointed as the company's new president and CEO. He has worked at Cinergy since 2021 and previously served as CFO. Former CEO Jeff Benson will move into a chief strategist and director role at the company. Benson and his wife, Jamie, founded Cinergy in 2009.
