Leslie “Lee” Clair (Bailey) Gray, 68, of Delray Beach, FL and formerly of North Providence, RI passed away February 7, 2026, at VITAS Hospice Care, Delray Beach. She was the loving wife of Gary D. Gray, who predeceased her in July 2025.

Born in Providence, Lee was the daughter of Clair R. (Bertherman) Bailey and the late Lester A. Bailey. A graduate of St. Patrick High School, North Providence. She was a respiratory therapist for 37 years before retiring. She and Gary moved to Delray Beach in 2020.

In addition to her mother, she leaves four siblings: Sidney M. Bailey of Smithfield, RI and Delray Beach, FL; Michael G. Bailey of North Providence, RI; Robert D. Bailey of Richmond, RI; Peter J. Bailey of Delray Beach, FL and their spouses: Paula F. (Charette) Bailey, Beth A. (Hainey) Bailey, and Alicia (Lato) Bailey. She was beloved aunt to Michael R. Bailey, Kaitlin F. (Bailey) Morrissette, Megan Bailey, Marianna Bailey, Zachary Bailey, and Andrew Bailey and their spouses: Rachel Ackerman, Matthew Morrissette, Maxwell McVay, Devin Stevens, and Amanda (DelConte) Bailey. She also leaves her dear friend, Fran Ecker of Delray Beach.

Lee’s family and friends fondly remember Lee’s sharp wit, direct demeanor, and ability to make heavy situations lighter and more bearable with humor. She was a homebody who loved her cat, Penny dearly. However, the beach was always her happy place.

She enjoyed reading, cooking, and cruising. With Gary, she rooted for all the local sports teams.

The family extends its gratitude to Fran, her neighbors at Lakes of Delray, and the medical teams at Delray Medical Center, Boca Regional General Hospital and VITAS whose assistance to the family and caretaking of Lee was extraordinary.

A celebration of life for both Lee and Gary will be held in Narragansett, RI during the summer of 2026 as they wished.

Cold-Link Logistics will expand its existing Cold-Link Logistics Providence, a tri‑temperature, cold storage facility in North Kingstown, R.I., with 65,000 square feet of freezer space.

Construction will start later this quarter, and upon completion scheduled for 2027, the property will span 129,000 square feet.

JLL Capital Markets secured a $33.9 million floating-rate, four-year loan for the expansion.

Cold-Link Logistics owner Mandich Group acquired the asset from US Foods in 2021 for $4 million, or $63 per square feet, according to Yardi Matrix information. Ellington Management Group provided a $5.3 million purchase loan, the same source shows.

Back in December 2025, Slate Asset Management and Hamilton Lane bought a majority stake in Cold-Link Logistics. The cold storage company’s footprint includes facilities located across Central, Northeastern and Southeastern U.S.

Older and colder

Located at 1 All American Way, the property has connection to Rhode Island Route 403 to the north and US Route 1 to the east, allowing access through the East Coast. In addition, the facility is rail served. Providence, R.I., is less than 20 miles north.

Built in 2000 on 7 acres, the building currently totals 64,000 square feet and features 30 feet clear heights, and 14 loading doors—one at grade level and 13 doors dock-high.

The expansion at Cold-Link Logistics Providence will add 13,500 frozen pallet positions to the existing 4,600, while loading dock capacity will increase to 17. Improved refrigeration and fire protection systems will be other additions to the facility.

The aging infrastructure in the cold storage market has disrupted supply chains, particularly in the Northeast, where outdated systems and inefficient layouts are creating unnecessary costs. Although public data specific to this area is limited, estimates suggest that nearly half of cold storage facilities in the region are at least 40 years old. As a solution, developers are also looking at expansions and retrofittings.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — A fire tore through a Providence bar Friday morning with decades of history in the community.

Bradley Cafe, a longtime favorite of Providence College students since 1937, suffered significant structural damage after a fire broke out just before 9 a.m., leaving regulars and the surrounding community saddened by the loss.

“It was our go-to spot,” said Jayson Onanian. “You’d have to get here early, especially senior year, because it filled up quick and everyone loved it. It had the best staff and the best cheap drinks.”

Nobody was injured or inside the building at the time, as it wasn’t scheduled to open until noon.

It took a about an hour to get the fire under control, with roughly 50 firefighters responding.

Crews worked for several hours more trying to tamp down any possible hotspots.

Robert Butler, deputy assistant chief of the Providence Fire Department, said the spot was also a favorite among first responders.

“This is a big hit for the community, a lot of us have spent a lot of time in there on Saint Patrick’s Day, fire department, police department,” Butler said. “This whole neighborhood, this is going to be a huge loss for them.”

Efforts are already underway to help the bar's owners and staff get back on their feet, and potentially reopen eventually.

A GoFundMe page referring to the bar as a "place where friendships were made and everyone felt like family" has managed to raise nearly $20,000 as of Friday evening.

Current and former students agreed there was a certain charm to the bar, whether it be from the atmosphere inside or the people they walked in with.

“It was just a very welcoming environment there, you saw all the different Providence pictures on the wall, different autographs,” said John McGurn. “You can tell it meant a lot to Providence and all the schools around here, so it was just a great, great environment.”

The bar's owners declined to comment on the fire Friday afternoon.

An investigation into possible causes is underway.
