English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Quincy, MA

When it comes to buying purebred puppies, there are a lot of breeds and questions to consider. Do you want an outdoor pup or one that spends its time indoors? Are you looking for a tiny dog you can take with you everywhere or a larger breed you can lay with on the couch? Of all the purebred puppies to choose from, none are quite like the English bulldog. Their sourmug face might not be for everyone, but if your ideal version of man's best friend is a snorty, stocky ball of wrinkles that loves to lounge, a bulldog could be perfect for you.

Bulldogs are beloved for their unique looks and charming personalities. They have strong reputations for being loyal companions, making them incredibly popular for families and individuals alike. There's just something about their squishy face and bowling ball body that makes you want to love and cuddle them forever. Unfortunately, finding a purebred English bulldog from your local shelter is like searching for a needle in a haystack. When you factor in the fact that many English bulldog breeders are less-than-reputable, finding the right bulldog puppies for adoption in Quincy, MA can be challenging.

If you've been searching high and low for purebred English bulldog puppies from a responsible breeder, don't give up hope. Your search may be coming to an end sooner than you think with the help of IrresistiBulls.

Trial

It's Science, Not Trial and Error

Our cherished bulldog, Bruiser, was a unique boy. He stood out from other dogs. Like Bruiser, IrresistiBulls stands out from other breeders because we base our breeding practices on science and careful consideration.

Our goal isn't just about selling English bulldog puppies. It's to ensure that every puppy we breed excels in health, temperament, intelligence, and obedience. We don't rely on trial and error, which often yields more errors than successes. Extensive research underpins our methods to guarantee the best possible outcomes. Our dedication extends not only to the families welcoming our puppies into their homes but also to the well-being and quality of life of the puppies themselves. That's the IrresistiBulls difference.

Sire

Sire and Dams Bred for Excellence

When it comes to longevity, health, temperament, and intelligence, it all starts with the dam and sire. That's why our English bulldog sires and dams are carefully selected for their excellence, champion bloodlines, and genetic traits. We're not your run-of-the-mill English bulldog breeders in South Carolina; we've perfected our method. We genuinely care and view every puppy we bring into the world as a part of our extended family. Each one of our dogs is truly the "cream of the crop," guaranteed to pass on greatness to their offspring.

Around

World-Class Bulldog Lineage from Around the World

An Improved Process of Breeding Purebred English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Quincy, MA

Breeding any dog, especially English bulldogs, poses health concerns. We make every effort to breed English bulldogs with the desirable genetic traits while working to eliminate those that could result in health problems. The key is to avoid breeding puppies that are closely related and could potentially have genetic abnormalities.

Unfortunately, some breeders are either irresponsible or lack an understanding of the complexities involved in producing healthy English bulldog lines. We only breed dogs with the best-quality lineages and never take unnecessary risks by breeding dogs with overly similar ancestry. This approach safeguards not only our business but also the well-being of the puppies and the families who welcome them into their homes.

Buying English bulldog puppies for sale in Quincy, MA is a joyful and exciting experience. Whether you're a single pup parent or have a family with children, you'll love your new bulldogs' affectionate, loyal nature and will laugh out loud at their quirky attitude. However, bringing a bulldog puppy home necessitates careful forethought and organization to guarantee a seamless adjustment for both you and your new furry pal. Keep these essential tips in mind when it's time to bring your bulldog puppy to your den.

Safe Space

Create a Safe Space

Choose a cozy and secure spot in your home for your bulldog puppy to relax and feel at ease. You might want to opt for a crate or a puppy playpen to create a snug and den-like space for them.

Supplies

Stock Up on Supplies

Gather essential supplies such as water and food, nutritious and high-quality puppy food, a leash and a collar, bedding, chew toys, and grooming items. If you're worried about overdoing it, don't fret. It's better to be overprepared and have extra than to be underprepared and need more supplies.

Puppy-Proof

Puppy-Proof Your Property

It's important to get your home ready for your new bulldog puppies before they arrive. English bulldog pups are inquisitive by nature and love to play, so expect some high-energy bonding early on. Clear away any small objects that could be swallowed, hide electrical cords, and remove any toxic plants to keep them safe.

Settling

Settling In After the First Few Days

During the initial days following the arrival of your bulldog puppy, it's essential to focus on establishing a nurturing environment and a consistent routine to build a strong bond. Here are some helpful tips to help your puppy settle in smoothly.

Routine

Get a Routine Going ASAP

If there's one thing bulldogs thrive on (besides nutritious, yummy food), it's a routine. After you've been with your new bulldog puppy for a few days, try creating a schedule. Plan out time for eating, bathroom breaks, training, and playing. We should note that it's important to create a schedule that can be incorporated into your family's routine. You don't need to rearrange your life, but you will need to cater to your new doggo to an extent.

Remain Calm

Try to Remain Calm and Patient

If you had to move to a new home when you were very young, you probably have an idea how a bulldog puppy would feel, too. It can be overwhelming - not just for your bulldog, but for you too. That's why you should try to be as patient and calm as possible while your new addition gets acclimated to their new surroundings.

Whether you're an experienced dog owner or a newcomer, bringing your puppy into their new home should be nothing but a joyful occasion. At IrresistiBulls, we're happy to help make sure you don't go home in a tizzy. That way, you can focus on spending time with your bulldog puppy and creating a loving home from day one.

Top 5 Reasons to Consider English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Quincy, MA

Bulldogs are undeniably one of the most adored dog breeds in the world. Their wrinkled faces, stocky bods, and fun personalities have endeared them to dog lovers everywhere. Have you ever met an English bulldog owner who didn't love their pup? We haven't. If you're still on the fence about buying a bulldog puppy for you or your family, you may want to re-think that stance after reading these reasons.

 Playful Bulldog Images Quincy, MA

Generally speaking, bulldogs are great pets for kids. That's because they're incredibly calm, fiercely devoted, and, well, lazy. A screaming, tugging child doesn't faze them. They'll even let little ones dress them in cowboy hats and tutus without batting an eye.

 Family-friendly Bulldogs Quincy, MA

Owning a bulldog means there's rarely a dull moment in your home. Whether they're snoring so loud it puts your sleep apnea to shame or interrupting your thoughts with a little flatulence, English bulldogs will make you smile even if you're in a bad mood.

Make no mistake - bulldogs must get exercise to remain healthy. However, when given the choice, many bulldogs would rather curl up on the couch with you than go for a multi-mile run.

If you think breeds like border collies get all the credit for being smart, think again. Have you ever seen a border collie ride a skateboard or surf a wave? Probably not - but bulldogs are known for such feats. That's due in part to their low center of gravity, but it's mostly because bulldogs are so cool.

Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Jimmy Fallon got into some Massachusetts shenanigans on NBC's "The Tonight Show" on Tuesday, Jan. 13, attempting to name all 351 cities and towns in the Bay State in quick succession.

Actors and longtime friends Damon and Affleck appeared on the late-night talk show to promote their upcoming thriller film, "The Rip," which premieres Friday, Jan. 16, on Netflix.

Having grown up in Massachusetts, the two were no strangers to thick Boston accents – famously putting them to use in "Good Will Hunting." And while their newest movie is set in Miami, not Boston, the actors jumped at the chance to slip into their New England personas on "The Tonight Show."

Wearing their most "Boston" outfits – Red Sox merch and cold-weather gear – Damon, Affleck, and Fallon took turns reciting the names of each Massachusetts town in alphabetical order as soft music played in the background.

"Abington, Acton, Acushnet, Adams, Agawam," Damon started, with a deadpan expression on his face.

Stream your favorite shows, the biggest blockbusters and more.

"Alford, Amesbury, Amherst, Andover, Aquinnah," Affleck continued, with a gruff Boston accent.

"Arlington, Ashburnham, Ashby, Ashfield, Ashland," Fallon went on, trying his hand at an accent as well.

And yes, the segment continued like this for about five minutes.

Were there any slip-ups on the Massachusetts town names?

For the most part, the three flew through the Massachusetts town names, even though it's easy for tongues to get twisted when reciting them all at top speed.

Fallon made a point to enunciate each "r" in the town of Truro, but stumbled briefly over Winchendon, repeating it a few times before he sounded confident.

Affleck, a Massachusetts town-name natural, couldn't resist a cheeky comment when he reached the home of the New England Patriots.

"Foxboro for your mother," he quipped.

Another notable moment was when Affleck learned mid-recitation that Peru is, in fact, the name of a town in Massachusetts.

You can find a list of all 351 Massachusetts towns and cities here – if you're feeling up to the challenge of reciting them all.

Matt Damon, how do you pronounce Quincy, Massachusetts?

Where, when to watch the new Matt Damon and Ben Affleck movie

You can watch "The Rip" on Netflix on Friday, Jan. 16.

Damon and Affleck are featured in the film alongside actors Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Kyle Chandler, Scott Adkins, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Sasha Calle, Nestor Carbonell, and Lina Esco, according to Netflix. The movie is directed by Joe Carnahan, whose other works include "Narc," "The A-Team," and "Copshop." Damon and Affleck are also producers of the film.

Here's the official movie synopsis for "The Rip," provided by Netflix:

"Upon discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house, trust among a team of Miami cops begins to fray. As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything is called into question — including who they can rely on."

Dave Portnoy is wasting no time in the new year diving into slices of South Shore cheese pizza.

The Barstool Sports founder’s popular "One Bite Pizza Reviews" visited several Quincy establishments over the first few days of January. The videos get thousands of views and help generate buzz for local businesses.

The first South Shore review was of Tony’s House of Pizza, posted Tuesday, Jan. 6, followed by a review of Hancock Tavern posted on Jan. 7. A review of South Shore bar pizza from Fowler House Cafe was posted on Jan. 12, Rags Tavern on Jan. 13 and his "One Bite" review from Coop’s Bar & Grille posted on Jan. 15.

These are all the Quincy places Portnoy is said to have reviewed this January.

Check out the all new PLAY hub with puzzles, games and more!

Before these 2026 reviews, the last time Portnoy posted a video from the South Shore was in May 2025, with a visit to Braintree Brewhouse.

Pizza at Coop’s Bar & Grille not first choice, Portnoy says in 'One Bite' review

Pizza at Coop’s Bar & Grille may not be the first thing Portnoy would have picked on its menu, but it’s no reason to discount the restaurant at 520 Washington St. in Quincy.“It’s a ‘bar and grille,’” Portnoy said. “They have the pizza, but they don’t say ‘pizza’” in the name. Other dishes he saw customers eating “looked great,” he said.He was told their pizza isn’t really South Shore bar pizza, and Portnoy could tell based on its size.Ultimately, he rated the pizza a 6.8.Portnoy, who is originally from Swampscott, also commented on the feeling of home he had at Coop’s.“This is where Barstool (Sports) started,” he said. “When you come home, these people have been with me from day one, basically, so it just hits different.”

Rags Tavern is all in the family. The establishment at 375 Washington St. has been run for the last year by Corinna Cochrane. Her father Eddie Cochrane, who passed away in 2022, owned Rags and Alumni Pizza (located next door at 379 Washington St.). Afterwards, his father, Edward Cochrane Jr., took over the reigns in the interim before his death in late 2024.

The original legendary Alumni Cafe closed in 2013.

Portnoy, who is shown briefly speaking to Cochrane in the video, says Rags had a "cool vibe" and a "super cool owner."

"We always recommend that. Go support your local business," he says. "I asked her how business is doing. She's like, 'It's a little slow.' Let's speed it up."

He gave the Alumni Pizza served at Rags Tavern a 7.9.

Fowler House Cafe gets rated by 'One Bite'

John MacNeil only knew that Dave Portnoy was in the building when his staff rushed downstairs to tell him the news.

It was around 4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 5, when he came into Fowler House Cafe, located at 1039 Hancock St. Portnoy chatted with customers and staff, took his 10-inch bar pizza, “smiled, waved and went on his way.”

MacNeil is familiar with the “One Bite” videos, and “eagerly awaited” his own score.

“It’s fun. It’s lighthearted. It’s pizza,” he told The Patriot Ledger by phone.

Shortly after the visit, Portnoy posted on social media a photo of a Fowler House Cafe pizza box with the caption, “Sneaky….”

In the video review, Portnoy told viewers that “as I’ve matured and become a pizza veteran,” he has different rating scales for different types of pizza, from Detroit-style, Neapolitan, New Haven and South Shore bar pizza.

As for the bar pizza at Fowler House Cafe? “Very, very, very good bar pie on the bar pie scale,” Portnoy said.

He gave it an 8.1.

“I’m going to house this thing in a second,” he said.

Hancock Tavern's South Shore bar pizza gets a 'One Bite' score

Walking into Hancock Tavern at 668 Hancock St. in Quincy was like coming home, Portnoy said.

"The center of Masshole universe in there," he said, commenting on the workers' and customers' accents and demeanors. "It's like, all right, I'm back home."

The restaurant remade his pizza (without knowing it was him who ordered, they said) and he commented on the pie's underside being well done, which for him was "unusual" for bar pizza.

This type of pizza that hails from the South Shore is a personal-size pizza with cheese and sauce that reaches all the way to the crispy crust. Portnoy has noted he tends to rate these pizzas on a higher scale because he likes them so much.

He gave the one at Hancock Tavern a 7.5.

Continuing his fascination for the people inside the restaurant, he put out a playful callout to any casting director watching the video.

"If you want the cast for the next Affleck movie, go get these guys," he said. "Most authentic movie you'll ever make."

‘One Bite’ review of Tony’s House of Pizza gets middling rate

In the first South Shore pizzeria review posted of 2026, Portnoy heads to Tony’s House of Pizza at 662 Hancock St. in Quincy.

“I thought it was going to be worse,” he said after taking a few bites of a lone slice of cheese pizza.

He noted that a single slice versus a whole pizza puts it at a slight disadvantage, with the slice being described as thin and “a little floppy.”

That being said, he rated it a 6.3.

Before the sample, Portnoy lauded the restaurant’s wide-ranging menu of subs, wraps, burgers, salads and pasta.

With the frigid January temperatures apparently getting to him as he conducted his review, Portnoy, who is originally from Swampscott and now lives in Florida, admitted, "I don't think I could ever move back here."
