When it comes to buying purebred puppies, there are a lot of breeds and questions to consider. Do you want an outdoor pup or one that spends its time indoors? Are you looking for a tiny dog you can take with you everywhere or a larger breed you can lay with on the couch? Of all the purebred puppies to choose from, none are quite like the English bulldog. Their sourmug face might not be for everyone, but if your ideal version of man's best friend is a snorty, stocky ball of wrinkles that loves to lounge, a bulldog could be perfect for you.
Bulldogs are beloved for their unique looks and charming personalities. They have strong reputations for being loyal companions, making them incredibly popular for families and individuals alike. There's just something about their squishy face and bowling ball body that makes you want to love and cuddle them forever. Unfortunately, finding a purebred English bulldog from your local shelter is like searching for a needle in a haystack. When you factor in the fact that many English bulldog breeders are less-than-reputable, finding the right bulldog puppies for adoption in Sugar Land, TX can be challenging.
If you've been searching high and low for purebred English bulldog puppies from a responsible breeder, don't give up hope. Your search may be coming to an end sooner than you think with the help of IrresistiBulls.
IrresistiBulls was born out of love for the English bulldog who first graced our world, Bruiser. It became our mission to spread the joy he afforded us to families around the nation. We pride ourselves on being more than just breeders; we're a lifelong support system for our families. Unlike many competitors, we stay in touch with each family that purchases from us. We make it a point to offer expert tips and tricks for any challenges that may arise, which can help save you time, money, and a trip to the vet.
At IrresistiBulls, breeding English bulldogs isn't just a career choice. It's a passion. When you welcome a bulldog pup from our program into your home, you're not just getting any dog - you're gaining a remarkable English bulldog with a documented lineage of health, intelligence, and obedience - as well as all the hallmark traits that make English bulldogs beloved. While our dogs come from champion lines, they're perfect for families, provide unconditional love, and will probably be your new dinner bell, too.
Our cherished bulldog, Bruiser, was a unique boy. He stood out from other dogs. Like Bruiser, IrresistiBulls stands out from other breeders because we base our breeding practices on science and careful consideration.
Our goal isn't just about selling English bulldog puppies. It's to ensure that every puppy we breed excels in health, temperament, intelligence, and obedience. We don't rely on trial and error, which often yields more errors than successes. Extensive research underpins our methods to guarantee the best possible outcomes. Our dedication extends not only to the families welcoming our puppies into their homes but also to the well-being and quality of life of the puppies themselves. That's the IrresistiBulls difference.
When it comes to longevity, health, temperament, and intelligence, it all starts with the dam and sire. That's why our English bulldog sires and dams are carefully selected for their excellence, champion bloodlines, and genetic traits. We're not your run-of-the-mill English bulldog breeders in South Carolina; we've perfected our method. We genuinely care and view every puppy we bring into the world as a part of our extended family. Each one of our dogs is truly the "cream of the crop," guaranteed to pass on greatness to their offspring.
Simply put, we truly care about our bulldogs and the families that build cherished memories with them. We're incredibly thankful to have worked with so many amazing clients who trust our process and value our commitment to the health and wellness of our bulldog pups. Our wonderful clients recommend their friends and family members to IrresistiBulls because we prioritize:
When you buy from IrresistiBulls, you can rest easy knowing you're getting the best of the best. We take pride in ethically breeding our puppies by using champion bloodlines from different parts of the world. By doing this, we reduce the chances of our puppies inheriting common health issues that can affect English bulldogs. Our puppies come from well-regarded show dog ancestry from countries like Ukraine, Spain, and Russia, to name a few.
We meticulously breed for highly coveted traits and take proactive measures to limit traits that can lead to health conditions in your puppy. Our efforts have successfully eliminated issues such as corkscrew tails and narrow nares, ensuring a worry-free experience for our puppies and their new families.
Breeding any dog, especially English bulldogs, poses health concerns. We make every effort to breed English bulldogs with the desirable genetic traits while working to eliminate those that could result in health problems. The key is to avoid breeding puppies that are closely related and could potentially have genetic abnormalities.
Unfortunately, some breeders are either irresponsible or lack an understanding of the complexities involved in producing healthy English bulldog lines. We only breed dogs with the best-quality lineages and never take unnecessary risks by breeding dogs with overly similar ancestry. This approach safeguards not only our business but also the well-being of the puppies and the families who welcome them into their homes.
When you bring one of our puppies for sale into your home, you become a permanent part of our extended family.
Our IrresistiBulls are usually reserved before the litter is even born. Securing a spot on our reservation list is essential once we confirm a pregnancy. While we strive to honor all reservations, sometimes we have to leave it to nature, so there are no guarantees regarding litter arrivals and viability. However, once you've reserved your new English bulldog puppy, we'll keep you informed every step of the way. As English bulldog lovers, we understand your excitement about welcoming a new addition to your family. That's why we do our best to minimize the uncertainties and challenges that can arise during the breeding process.

Buying English bulldog puppies for sale in Sugar Land, TX is a joyful and exciting experience. Whether you're a single pup parent or have a family with children, you'll love your new bulldogs' affectionate, loyal nature and will laugh out loud at their quirky attitude. However, bringing a bulldog puppy home necessitates careful forethought and organization to guarantee a seamless adjustment for both you and your new furry pal. Keep these essential tips in mind when it's time to bring your bulldog puppy to your den.
Choose a cozy and secure spot in your home for your bulldog puppy to relax and feel at ease. You might want to opt for a crate or a puppy playpen to create a snug and den-like space for them.
Gather essential supplies such as water and food, nutritious and high-quality puppy food, a leash and a collar, bedding, chew toys, and grooming items. If you're worried about overdoing it, don't fret. It's better to be overprepared and have extra than to be underprepared and need more supplies.
It's important to get your home ready for your new bulldog puppies before they arrive. English bulldog pups are inquisitive by nature and love to play, so expect some high-energy bonding early on. Clear away any small objects that could be swallowed, hide electrical cords, and remove any toxic plants to keep them safe.
Bulldog puppies for adoption in Sugar Land, TX from IrresistiBulls arrive at your home having had all the proper shots and worming medicines required. However, you should already have a follow-up visit scheduled with your vet before your new family member arrives. Doing so will help you and your vet get on the same page regarding deworming, vaccinations, and preventative healthcare plans.
In the first few days, weeks, and sometimes months, it can be challenging to adjust to having a new puppy at home. Puppies are quite complex, and just like with any newborn, having reliable guidance and essential tools isn't just a luxury - it alleviates stress and makes the process of welcoming and training the puppy much smoother. At IrresistiBulls, we offer a puppy starter kit to provide you with the necessary information on puppy care, the resources you may require along the way, and, of course, an assortment of toys to enrich the bonding experience with your new furry friend.
During the initial days following the arrival of your bulldog puppy, it's essential to focus on establishing a nurturing environment and a consistent routine to build a strong bond. Here are some helpful tips to help your puppy settle in smoothly.
If there's one thing bulldogs thrive on (besides nutritious, yummy food), it's a routine. After you've been with your new bulldog puppy for a few days, try creating a schedule. Plan out time for eating, bathroom breaks, training, and playing. We should note that it's important to create a schedule that can be incorporated into your family's routine. You don't need to rearrange your life, but you will need to cater to your new doggo to an extent.
If you had to move to a new home when you were very young, you probably have an idea how a bulldog puppy would feel, too. It can be overwhelming - not just for your bulldog, but for you too. That's why you should try to be as patient and calm as possible while your new addition gets acclimated to their new surroundings.
Whether you're an experienced dog owner or a newcomer, bringing your puppy into their new home should be nothing but a joyful occasion. At IrresistiBulls, we're happy to help make sure you don't go home in a tizzy. That way, you can focus on spending time with your bulldog puppy and creating a loving home from day one.
Bulldogs are undeniably one of the most adored dog breeds in the world. Their wrinkled faces, stocky bods, and fun personalities have endeared them to dog lovers everywhere. Have you ever met an English bulldog owner who didn't love their pup? We haven't. If you're still on the fence about buying a bulldog puppy for you or your family, you may want to re-think that stance after reading these reasons.
Like, seriously adorable. The wrinkles. The jowls. The saggy eyes. Bulldogs epitomize "Aww, how cute!" especially when they're young. There's just something about grabbing a big wrinkly head and planting a huge kiss right in the middle.
Generally speaking, bulldogs are great pets for kids. That's because they're incredibly calm, fiercely devoted, and, well, lazy. A screaming, tugging child doesn't faze them. They'll even let little ones dress them in cowboy hats and tutus without batting an eye.
Owning a bulldog means there's rarely a dull moment in your home. Whether they're snoring so loud it puts your sleep apnea to shame or interrupting your thoughts with a little flatulence, English bulldogs will make you smile even if you're in a bad mood.
Make no mistake - bulldogs must get exercise to remain healthy. However, when given the choice, many bulldogs would rather curl up on the couch with you than go for a multi-mile run.
If you think breeds like border collies get all the credit for being smart, think again. Have you ever seen a border collie ride a skateboard or surf a wave? Probably not - but bulldogs are known for such feats. That's due in part to their low center of gravity, but it's mostly because bulldogs are so cool.
When you trust IrresistiBulls as your bulldog puppy breeder, we believe it's our privilege and duty to provide you with a healthy, happy dog. Every English bulldog we ship in the U.S. is both a part of our beloved Bruiser and also a new part of your family's heart. At the end of the day, our goal is for you to discover your new companion, family mascot, or hot mess without having to worry about shady practices or inconvenient logistics.
We know you'll fall in love as soon as you lay eyes on your new IrresistiBull, just like we did when Bruiser blessed our lives. Contact our office today to learn more about what separates us from other breeders and how we can make your English bulldog ownership dreams come true.

One former Mercy Emergency Room employee said she still has not been paid for one month of work, so KHOU 11 went to the experts to ask for solutions.
SUGAR LAND, Texas — Employees of Mercy Emergency Room in Sugar Land were surprised to learn last week that the owning physician’s medical license was suspended.
The Texas Medical Board temporarily suspended Dr. Bamidele Adeyemo’s medical license on April 17.
Board documents revealed that Adeyemo “is suffering from an unmanaged health condition that impairs his ability to safely practice medicine. Respondent is currently engaged in the practice of medicine without any oversight or monitoring.” The Board found that if Adeyemo continued to practice as a physician, he “would constitute a continuing threat to the public welfare.”
Christina Martinez, who worked the front desk at Mercy Emergency Room, said she found out about the situation a few days after the license was suspended. She said that was when she put the closed sign on the door.
“I was in disbelief. I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t believe that we were working like that, and that he would let us work like that,” Martinez said.
KHOU 11 asked what the Texas Medical Board could be referring to when mentioning Adeyemo’s “unmanaged health condition.”
“I never noticed anything like physically wrong with him,” Martinez said. “But we did notice a little bit, like maybe he was just absent from being here. He would kind of hide and go into his room a little bit.”
Martinez also said that she and other employees did not receive their Friday, April 25, paychecks on time. KHOU 11 called a phone number listed for Adeyemo – and three days after KHOU 11 started asking questions, Martinez said she and other workers got paid on Monday.
However, former marketing employee Brandi Fitzgerald said she still has not been paid. She said she worked at Mercy Emergency Room during the month of March but left because she didn’t receive any payment.
“There were two pay periods that I was not paid for my work here,” Fitzgerald said.
Fitzgerald said it was an unfortunate situation, given she has known Adeyemo for about five years.
“It’s gut-wrenching somebody that you had so much respect for is capable of doing something like that. We even called each other family there for a long period of time,” Fitzgerald said.
Fitzgerald also said she could not get ahold of Adeyemo.
KHOU 11 tried calling Adeyemo’s listed phone number again Monday, both in regard to the license suspension and Fitzgerald’s accusation of not being paid. However, no one picked up the phone and the call was sent to voicemail.
KHOU 11 spoke to Tom Padgett, a Houston wage theft lawyer with the Buenker Law Firm, to get solutions for Fitzgerald – and other employees who may be struggling to receive the payments due to them.
Padgett said the first course of action for an employee to take if they have not been paid is to try and connect with the employer. However, such as in Fitzgerald’s case, employers are sometimes difficult to reach.
“If they’re going to ghost you or stonewall you, then you’ve got to take matters into your own hands,” Padgett said.
Padgett said there are a couple things an employee in Texas can do if they have not been paid the wages owed to them.
“One is to sue them in state court for a breach of contract,” Padgett said. “The other option they have that’s generally a pretty good one, is to go to the Texas Workforce Commission and make a complaint with that organization. They generally handle situations where somebody’s not getting paid, maybe a month, maybe a couple of weeks, or something like that, and if you go through the process with the Texas Workforce Commission, frequently they can get you the money.”
Padgett said the easiest way to file a claim is to go to the Texas Workforce Commission website, and then that will kickstart the process.
“Generally, you’ll be contacted by an investigator who will then take more detail on the complaint, and then they’ll process it. They’ll reach out to the employer, find out if the employer is interested in maybe resolving the matter quickly, and if not, then, they’ll go through a fact-finding process and make a determination, which they can then enforce,” Padgett said.
Another big concern for patients is not having access to their health records or knowing where they may end up if their physician’s office closes permanently.
According to the Texas Medical Board, you should put your medical records request in writing and send it to the physician’s address listed on the physician’s profile on the Texas Medical Board website. But you can also contact the Texas Medical Board if you have issues getting in touch with your physician.

SUGAR LAND, Texas — Do you live in Sugar Land? If so, you can now boast that you're a resident of the third best city in which to live in the U.S. in 2025. That’s according to Livability, which put the list together.
To come up with the list, Livability looked at a variety of factors but was focusing on small to mid-size cities. Their population range was between 75,000 and 500,000.
So why only cities in that population range?
“To us, that’s the sweet spot in size for getting plugged in, finding your people and feeling at home fast,” according to the authors of the rankings.
They looked at things like affordability. The city must have a median home value of $500,000 or less. They took into account amenities -- things like parks, restaurants, entertainment and culture. And there’s the local economy, including job opportunities and income levels. There were also transportation, healthcare, and education factors.
You can read more about their methodology here.
Sugar Land had a score of 854 out of 1,000, which landed it the No. 3 spot. That's based on Livability’s “LivScore,” which takes all of the factors into account.
According to Livability, Sugar Land offers, “a blend of Southern charm and big-city convenience. From top-rated schools to a delicious dining scene, Sugar Land offers the ideal balance of comfort and conveniences.”
Livability noted the low cost of living and affluence in Sugar Land, with a business-friendly environment and medical care. You can read more about what Livability liked about Sugar Land here.
While Sugar Land was No. 3, it wasn’t the top Texas city on the list.
Here are the top 10, according to Livability.
While the above rankings are for the “LivScore,” their report was interactive, so you can sort by the different factors. When you do that, Sugar Land comes in at No. 4 in economy, No. 4 in education, No. 2 in health and No. 2 in cost of living/housing.

Carlos Santana has called off another concert after collapsing during a Tuesday soundcheck in San Antonio. Manager Michael Vrionis confirmed the cancellation of tonight's show at Smart Financial Center in Sugar Land, Texas, but told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that Santana planned to resume his 2025 tour.
Local fire officials said the 77-year-old was hospitalized with "a non-life-threatening condition" before a scheduled Santana concert at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio. Vrionis later announced that Santana had been suffering from dehydration.
"It is with profound disappointment that I have to inform you all that tonight's show in San Antonio has been postponed," Vrionis said in an official statement on Tuesday. "Mr. Santana was at the venue preparing for tonight's show when he experienced an event that was determined to be dehydration. Out of an abundance of caution and the health of Mr. Santana, the decision to postpone the show was the most prudent course of action. He is doing well and is looking forward to coming back to San Antonio soon as well as continuing his U.S. Tour."

Santana is "feeling much better" after a short stay in a San Antonio hospital, according to the Mercury News. His next scheduled stop is Friday at Lucas Oil Live at WinStar in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
They're touring behind a new retrospective album titled Sentient, which arrived in March with older material and three previously unreleased songs. Collaborators included Smokey Robinson, the late Miles Davis, Darryl "DMC" McDaniels, and Michael Jackson. Santana's most recent album of all new songs dates back to 2021's Blessings and Miracles.
This isn't the first time Santana has suffered a scary bout of dehydration. A July 2022 concert in Detroit was abruptly cut short after he collapsed. Santana postponed several shows before returning to the road. Santana also delayed the start of a new residency in Las Vegas after suffering a fall at home.
Carlos Santana & Co. have been supernatural musical shape-shifters for 26 albums. Here's how those records rank.

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center broke ground March 31 in Sugar Land on what will be the hospital system's largest Houston-area facility outside of the Texas Medical Center.
In a nutshell
The five-story facility will span 470,000 square feet and offer a range of cancer services to the southwest Houston community. Located near the Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land on 17547 Southwest Freeway, the facility is anticipated to open in 2029, according to a March 31 news release from the hospital system.
The University of Texas owns about 40 acres around the Smart Financial Centre, according to the Fort Bend Central Appraisal District.
The details
The new location will replace MD Anderson's leased space at 1327 Lake Pointe Parkway, on the campus of St. Luke’s Health-Sugar Land Hospital. Officials with the hospital system chose Sugar Land to accommodate the area's fast-growing population—which is expected to increase over 30% by 2030, per the release.
“By expanding our reach in Sugar Land, we can better meet the needs of patients in Southwest Houston, making it easier for them to access the treatment and support they deserve, right in their own community," MD Anderson President Peter WT Pisters said in a statement.
Diving in deeper
Per the release, the facility will broaden the services available at MD Anderson's current Sugar Land location to include:
The new location will also include space for multidisciplinary clinics, which will provide comprehensive cancer care for adult patients with cancer diagnoses and low-to-medium acuity needs, according to the release.
"This not only will help make our care more convenient for local patients, especially those undergoing frequent treatments like chemotherapy or radiation, but it also will help increase access to care outside of our Texas Medical Center campus, potentially decreasing wait times for both local and regional patients," Rosanna Morris, MD Anderson's senior vice president and chief operating officer, said in the release.
What else?
MD Anderson has six locations outside of Texas Medical Center, including the leased space in Sugar Land, League City, The Woodlands, West Houston, Northwest Houston and near the medical center on Fannin Street.
Meanwhile, the hospital system is also set to open a nearby facility along Hwy. 6 in Missouri City in spring 2026, Community Impact reported.
