English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Tacoma, WA

Our cherished bulldog, Bruiser, was a unique boy. He stood out from other dogs. Like Bruiser, IrresistiBulls stands out from other breeders because we base our breeding practices on science and careful consideration.

Our goal isn't just about selling English bulldog puppies. It's to ensure that every puppy we breed excels in health, temperament, intelligence, and obedience. An Improved Process of Breeding Purebred English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Tacoma, WA

Breeding any dog, especially English bulldogs, poses health concerns. We make every effort to breed English bulldogs with the desirable genetic traits while working to eliminate those that could result in health problems. The key is to avoid breeding puppies that are closely related and could potentially have genetic abnormalities.

Unfortunately, some breeders are either irresponsible or lack an understanding of the complexities involved in producing healthy English bulldog lines. We only breed dogs with the best-quality lineages and never take unnecessary risks by breeding dogs with overly similar ancestry. This approach safeguards not only our business but also the well-being of the puppies and the families who welcome them into their homes.

However, bringing a bulldog puppy home necessitates careful forethought and organization to guarantee a seamless adjustment for both you and your new furry pal. Keep these essential tips in mind when it's time to bring your bulldog puppy to your den.

Safe Space

Create a Safe Space

Choose a cozy and secure spot in your home for your bulldog puppy to relax and feel at ease. You might want to opt for a crate or a puppy playpen to create a snug and den-like space for them.

Supplies

Stock Up on Supplies

Gather essential supplies such as water and food, nutritious and high-quality puppy food, a leash and a collar, bedding, chew toys, and grooming items. If you're worried about overdoing it, don't fret. It's better to be overprepared and have extra than to be underprepared and need more supplies.

Puppy-Proof

Puppy-Proof Your Property

It's important to get your home ready for your new bulldog puppies before they arrive. English bulldog pups are inquisitive by nature and love to play, so expect some high-energy bonding early on. Clear away any small objects that could be swallowed, hide electrical cords, and remove any toxic plants to keep them safe.

Settling

Settling In After the First Few Days

During the initial days following the arrival of your bulldog puppy, it's essential to focus on establishing a nurturing environment and a consistent routine to build a strong bond. Here are some helpful tips to help your puppy settle in smoothly.

Routine

Get a Routine Going ASAP

If there's one thing bulldogs thrive on (besides nutritious, yummy food), it's a routine. After you've been with your new bulldog puppy for a few days, try creating a schedule. Plan out time for eating, bathroom breaks, training, and playing. We should note that it's important to create a schedule that can be incorporated into your family's routine. You don't need to rearrange your life, but you will need to cater to your new doggo to an extent.

Remain Calm

Try to Remain Calm and Patient

If you had to move to a new home when you were very young, you probably have an idea how a bulldog puppy would feel, too. It can be overwhelming - not just for your bulldog, but for you too. That's why you should try to be as patient and calm as possible while your new addition gets acclimated to their new surroundings.

Whether you're an experienced dog owner or a newcomer, bringing your puppy into their new home should be nothing but a joyful occasion. At IrresistiBulls, we're happy to help make sure you don't go home in a tizzy. That way, you can focus on spending time with your bulldog puppy and creating a loving home from day one.

Top 5 Reasons to Consider English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Tacoma, WA

Bulldogs are undeniably one of the most adored dog breeds in the world. Their wrinkled faces, stocky bods, and fun personalities have endeared them to dog lovers everywhere. Have you ever met an English bulldog owner who didn't love their pup? We haven't. If you're still on the fence about buying a bulldog puppy for you or your family, you may want to re-think that stance after reading these reasons.

 Playful Bulldog Images Tacoma, WA

Generally speaking, bulldogs are great pets for kids. That's because they're incredibly calm, fiercely devoted, and, well, lazy. A screaming, tugging child doesn't faze them. They'll even let little ones dress them in cowboy hats and tutus without batting an eye.

 Family-friendly Bulldogs Tacoma, WA

Owning a bulldog means there's rarely a dull moment in your home. Whether they're snoring so loud it puts your sleep apnea to shame or interrupting your thoughts with a little flatulence, English bulldogs will make you smile even if you're in a bad mood.

Make no mistake - bulldogs must get exercise to remain healthy. However, when given the choice, many bulldogs would rather curl up on the couch with you than go for a multi-mile run.

English Bulldog Puppies Tacoma, WA

If you think breeds like border collies get all the credit for being smart, think again. Have you ever seen a border collie ride a skateboard or surf a wave? Probably not - but bulldogs are known for such feats. That's due in part to their low center of gravity, but it's mostly because bulldogs are so cool.

Where can you find the best pizza in Washington state?

Tasting Table, described as a “one-stop shop for all food and drink enthusiasts,” went in search of the top “pizza place in every state, hands down,” based on customer ratings, creative toppings and more.

“Is pizza the perfect food? It’s definitely in the running,” Tasting Table contributor D.B. Kelly wrote in an October article. “It’s almost infinitely customizable, never gets boring and there’s something out there for everyone.”

Here’s which Evergreen State spot made the list:

What is the best pizza restaurant in Washington State?

According to Tasting Table, Stevie’s Famous serves up the best pizza in Washington state.

The King County chain has two locations, including its flagship pizzeria at 822 SW 152nd St in Burien.

That restaurant offers pizza by the slice and whole pies along with housemade ice cream, natural wines and local beers with “a counter service vibe” and indoor and outdoor seating, according to the Stevie’s Famous website.

There’s also a Stevie’s Famous location inside Clock-Out Lounge, 4864 South Beacon Ave. in Seattle.

Both eateries are about a half-hour drive from Tacoma.

Tasting Table said Stevie’s Famous has “a small-town, friendly-neighborhood vibe, while putting out slices that would rival any big-city pizzeria.”

“Think greasy pepperoni, a flavorful, rich sauce and thin crust so good that it even wins fans from those who prefer deep dish styles,” the food review website said.

What’s on the menu at Stevie’s Famous in Seattle?

What’s on the menu at Stevie’s Famous?

In addition to classic options including cheese, pepperoni and sausage, the pizzeria offers specialty pizzas including a white pizza with fresh mozzarella, whipped ricotta and gorgonzola cheese, and a mushroom pizza with red onion, gorgonzola and salsa verde.

The most popular option on the menu might be the Normie MacDonald, named after the late Canadian comedian, which features aged mozzarella, coppa, hot honey, grana and burrata.

Customers can also make whole pizzas and slices “Normie” style by adding fresh burrata and house-made hot honey.

For dessert, Stevie’s Famous offers an array of ice creams, with flavors including chocolate, pistachio and vanilla custard.

What do Yelp reviewers say about Burien pizzeria?

Stevie’s Famous has an average Yelp rating of 4.2 stars out of five.

“This is my go-to pizza spot in the neighborhood and has been since they’ve opened,” Yelp user Christopher N. of Seattle wrote in his five-star review.

Yelp user Lucy L. of Astoria, Oregon, called Stevie’s Famous a “small pizza place that delivers huge on taste!”

“Oh yeah ... this was worth the trip to Burien,” Yelp reviewer Gary C. of Redmond wrote, praising the restaurant’s “amazing NY-style pizza” as “definitely in the mix for best pizza in Seattle.” “Now I’ll look forward to dropping someone off at the airport since it will include a trip to Stevie’s Famous ...”

How did Tasting Table rank best pizza places in US?

To track down the best pizza places all 50 states, Tasting Table said it looked for pizzerias that were highly rated and recommended by customers.

“We also looked for places that get seriously creative with its pies while still offering all the old-school tradition — like a delicious crust appropriate to the style in question — that people have come to expect,” the food review website said.

Other factors included a “commitment to local sourcing, establishments with chefs and founders who studied with Italian masters” and “overall longevity,” Tasting Table said. “We also took any awards from national and international pizza competitions a place had won, as well as a commitment to bettering the communities served.”

Snow was seen accumulating in certain areas of western Washington Tuesday after it was previously reported and spotted in Seattle-area forecasts this week.

According to KIRO 7 meteorlogist Nick Allard, snow is reportedly falling in Tacoma, as of 6:30 a.m. A few hours later, he confirmed that “traces” of snow had been recorded in Seattle.

Seattle had its first “trace” amount of snow of the season. https://t.co/mFg288w6aV

Sporadic, minor amounts of lowland snow are possible each night through early morning this week, through Friday. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through 12 p.m. Tuesday for one to three inches of snow for the Olympic Peninsula and the Hood Canal area.

“Showers will result in rain/snow mix across lowland areas of western Washington, primarily during the overnight/morning hours when temps are coldest,” the National Weather Service Seattle stated. “Snow accumulation is possible under heavier showers.”

Good morning! A wintry mix of precipitation continues this morning across western WA. There are many areas at or below freezing where slick spots may have formed (including roads, bridges, sidewalks). Use caution if venturing out this morning.#wawx pic.twitter.com/Nxtv3zCPCZ

“If you were to look at the overall pattern this week and rate the snow potential from 1-10, 1 being like ‘every day this lame winter so far’ and 10 being like ‘we’re about to be South Canada and you’re already too late to panic buy bread and milk,’ I’d rate this a 3,” meteorologist Scott Sistek of The Emerald City Weather Blog wrote.

Be careful out there this morning. It is very icy in spots. I slid a bunch in my front-wheel drive on my neighborhood streets.

The best chance for any accumulating snow in lower elevations is expected to be along the coastal region from north of Hoquiam to the western half of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Inland, higher hills and even a few lower elevations could see some snow on grassy surfaces and rooftops.

Still, no major snow is expected in western Washington.

The Taholah School District announced that classes will start two hours late due to local weather conditions. For up-to-date information regarding school delays and closures, click here.

Much cooler weather pattern

A cool unstable air mass associated with an upper-level low settled in off the coast Monday. This weather system will bring showers to western Washington through Wednesday, when the upper low is expected to ease onshore. Another cool upper-level low-pressure system will follow off the coast later in the week.

The cool air mass will drop snow levels to around 1,000 feet Monday across much of Western Washington, and to around 500 feet the rest of the workweek. The unsettled conditions will produce “hit and miss” showers. The threat of any accumulating snow in the lowlands should be limited to the overnight and morning hours when temperatures reach their daily lows.

Western Washington temperatures this week will be unseasonably cool. The average high temperature is around 50 degrees. Highs this week will struggle to reach the lower to mid-40s, while low temperatures are forecast in the lower to mid-30s, making icy spots on roadways a distinct possibility.

Overall, this week, given the spotty character of the expected showers, precipitation amounts will be rather light. In the lowlands, total amounts from Monday through Friday will likely be less than one inch. In the mountains, where adding to the meager snowpack is needed to reach feet, snowfall will likely fall in the 10-20 inch range.

Over the weekend, the Northwest Avalanche Center updated its snow depth report for the Olympics and Cascades, revealing that the mountain snowpack was still struggling. Snowfall over the weekend was quite welcome, though relatively light, with two to six inches of new snow at Hurricane Ridge in the Olympics and from Stevens Pass southward. The exception was Mt. Baker, which received 15 inches of fresh snow over the weekend.

The Avalanche Center report also noted that the overall mountain snowpack ranged from about 35-47% of average for mid-February. Mt. Baker came in at 61% of average.

The latest weather outlook, which extends through the first of March, offers some promise for a recovering mountain snowpack. The outlook reflects good odds on near-average temperatures and wetter-than-average conditions for Western Washington. These conditions should translate to more snow in the mountains.

This week is likely the best chance for any snowfall in the lowlands of Western Washington this winter season.
