Pure Bred English Bulldog Puppies from a trusted breeder, we fly them with a pet nanny anywhere in the US.

English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Newark, NJ

When it comes to buying purebred puppies, there are a lot of breeds and questions to consider. Do you want an outdoor pup or one that spends its time indoors? Are you looking for a tiny dog you can take with you everywhere or a larger breed you can lay with on the couch? Of all the purebred puppies to choose from, none are quite like the English bulldog. Their sourmug face might not be for everyone, but if your ideal version of man's best friend is a snorty, stocky ball of wrinkles that loves to lounge, a bulldog could be perfect for you.

Bulldogs are beloved for their unique looks and charming personalities. They have strong reputations for being loyal companions, making them incredibly popular for families and individuals alike. There's just something about their squishy face and bowling ball body that makes you want to love and cuddle them forever. Unfortunately, finding a purebred English bulldog from your local shelter is like searching for a needle in a haystack. When you factor in the fact that many English bulldog breeders are less-than-reputable, finding the right bulldog puppies for adoption in Newark, NJ can be challenging.

If you've been searching high and low for purebred English bulldog puppies from a responsible breeder, don't give up hope. Your search may be coming to an end sooner than you think with the help of IrresistiBulls.

Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Newark, NJ from an Ethical Breeder You Can Trust

IrresistiBulls was born out of love for the English bulldog who first graced our world, Bruiser. It became our mission to spread the joy he afforded us to families around the nation. We pride ourselves on being more than just breeders; we're a lifelong support system for our families. Unlike many competitors, we stay in touch with each family that purchases from us. We make it a point to offer expert tips and tricks for any challenges that may arise, which can help save you time, money, and a trip to the vet.

The IrresistiBulls Difference

At IrresistiBulls, breeding English bulldogs isn't just a career choice. It's a passion. When you welcome a bulldog pup from our program into your home, you're not just getting any dog - you're gaining a remarkable English bulldog with a documented lineage of health, intelligence, and obedience - as well as all the hallmark traits that make English bulldogs beloved. While our dogs come from champion lines, they're perfect for families, provide unconditional love, and will probably be your new dinner bell, too.

Trial

It's Science, Not Trial and Error

Our cherished bulldog, Bruiser, was a unique boy. He stood out from other dogs. Like Bruiser, IrresistiBulls stands out from other breeders because we base our breeding practices on science and careful consideration.

Our goal isn't just about selling English bulldog puppies. It's to ensure that every puppy we breed excels in health, temperament, intelligence, and obedience. We don't rely on trial and error, which often yields more errors than successes. Extensive research underpins our methods to guarantee the best possible outcomes. Our dedication extends not only to the families welcoming our puppies into their homes but also to the well-being and quality of life of the puppies themselves. That's the IrresistiBulls difference.

Sire

Sire and Dams Bred for Excellence

When it comes to longevity, health, temperament, and intelligence, it all starts with the dam and sire. That's why our English bulldog sires and dams are carefully selected for their excellence, champion bloodlines, and genetic traits. We're not your run-of-the-mill English bulldog breeders in South Carolina; we've perfected our method. We genuinely care and view every puppy we bring into the world as a part of our extended family. Each one of our dogs is truly the "cream of the crop," guaranteed to pass on greatness to their offspring.

Why Do So Many Bulldog Lovers Choose IrresistiBulls?

Simply put, we truly care about our bulldogs and the families that build cherished memories with them. We're incredibly thankful to have worked with so many amazing clients who trust our process and value our commitment to the health and wellness of our bulldog pups. Lineage

World-Class Bulldog Lineage from Around the World

When you buy from IrresistiBulls, you can rest easy knowing you're getting the best of the best. We take pride in ethically breeding our puppies by using champion bloodlines from different parts of the world. By doing this, we reduce the chances of our puppies inheriting common health issues that can affect English bulldogs. Our puppies come from well-regarded show dog ancestry from countries like Ukraine, Spain, and Russia, to name a few.

Around

World-Class Bulldog Lineage from Around the World

We meticulously breed for highly coveted traits and take proactive measures to limit traits that can lead to health conditions in your puppy. Our efforts have successfully eliminated issues such as corkscrew tails and narrow nares, ensuring a worry-free experience for our puppies and their new families.

An Improved Process of Breeding Purebred English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Newark, NJ

Breeding any dog, especially English bulldogs, poses health concerns. We make every effort to breed English bulldogs with the desirable genetic traits while working to eliminate those that could result in health problems. The key is to avoid breeding puppies that are closely related and could potentially have genetic abnormalities.

Unfortunately, some breeders are either irresponsible or lack an understanding of the complexities involved in producing healthy English bulldog lines. We only breed dogs with the best-quality lineages and never take unnecessary risks by breeding dogs with overly similar ancestry. This approach safeguards not only our business but also the well-being of the puppies and the families who welcome them into their homes.

You're Not Just Our Client. You're Our Family.

When you bring one of our puppies for sale into your home, you become a permanent part of our extended family.

An English Bulldog Breeders' Guide to Bringing Home Your Furry Friend

Buying English bulldog puppies for sale in Newark, NJ is a joyful and exciting experience. Whether you're a single pup parent or have a family with children, you'll love your new bulldogs' affectionate, loyal nature and will laugh out loud at their quirky attitude. However, bringing a bulldog puppy home necessitates careful forethought and organization to guarantee a seamless adjustment for both you and your new furry pal. Keep these essential tips in mind when it's time to bring your bulldog puppy to your den.

Safe Space

Create a Safe Space

Choose a cozy and secure spot in your home for your bulldog puppy to relax and feel at ease. You might want to opt for a crate or a puppy playpen to create a snug and den-like space for them.

Supplies

Stock Up on Supplies

Gather essential supplies such as water and food, nutritious and high-quality puppy food, a leash and a collar, bedding, chew toys, and grooming items. If you're worried about overdoing it, don't fret. It's better to be overprepared and have extra than to be underprepared and need more supplies.

Puppy-Proof

Puppy-Proof Your Property

It's important to get your home ready for your new bulldog puppies before they arrive. English bulldog pups are inquisitive by nature and love to play, so expect some high-energy bonding early on. Clear away any small objects that could be swallowed, hide electrical cords, and remove any toxic plants to keep them safe.

Settling

Settling In After the First Few Days

During the initial days following the arrival of your bulldog puppy, it's essential to focus on establishing a nurturing environment and a consistent routine to build a strong bond. Here are some helpful tips to help your puppy settle in smoothly.

Routine

Get a Routine Going ASAP

If there's one thing bulldogs thrive on (besides nutritious, yummy food), it's a routine. After you've been with your new bulldog puppy for a few days, try creating a schedule. Plan out time for eating, bathroom breaks, training, and playing. We should note that it's important to create a schedule that can be incorporated into your family's routine. You don't need to rearrange your life, but you will need to cater to your new doggo to an extent.

Remain Calm

Try to Remain Calm and Patient

If you had to move to a new home when you were very young, you probably have an idea how a bulldog puppy would feel, too. It can be overwhelming - not just for your bulldog, but for you too. That's why you should try to be as patient and calm as possible while your new addition gets acclimated to their new surroundings.

Whether you're an experienced dog owner or a newcomer, bringing your puppy into their new home should be nothing but a joyful occasion. At IrresistiBulls, we're happy to help make sure you don't go home in a tizzy. That way, you can focus on spending time with your bulldog puppy and creating a loving home from day one.

Top 5 Reasons to Consider English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Newark, NJ

Bulldogs are undeniably one of the most adored dog breeds in the world. Their wrinkled faces, stocky bods, and fun personalities have endeared them to dog lovers everywhere. Have you ever met an English bulldog owner who didn't love their pup? We haven't. If you're still on the fence about buying a bulldog puppy for you or your family, you may want to re-think that stance after reading these reasons.

Like, seriously adorable. The wrinkles. The jowls. The saggy eyes. Bulldogs epitomize "Aww, how cute!" especially when they're young. There's just something about grabbing a big wrinkly head and planting a huge kiss right in the middle.

 Playful Bulldog Images Newark, NJ

Generally speaking, bulldogs are great pets for kids. That's because they're incredibly calm, fiercely devoted, and, well, lazy. A screaming, tugging child doesn't faze them. They'll even let little ones dress them in cowboy hats and tutus without batting an eye.

 Family-friendly Bulldogs Newark, NJ

Owning a bulldog means there's rarely a dull moment in your home. Whether they're snoring so loud it puts your sleep apnea to shame or interrupting your thoughts with a little flatulence, English bulldogs will make you smile even if you're in a bad mood.

Make no mistake - bulldogs must get exercise to remain healthy. However, when given the choice, many bulldogs would rather curl up on the couch with you than go for a multi-mile run.

English Bulldog Puppies Newark, NJ

If you think breeds like border collies get all the credit for being smart, think again. Have you ever seen a border collie ride a skateboard or surf a wave? Probably not - but bulldogs are known for such feats. That's due in part to their low center of gravity, but it's mostly because bulldogs are so cool.

NEW JERSEY — A large rush of people in Florida have been trying to escape to New Jersey ahead of Hurricane Milton, with reports of scarce flights and soaring ticket prices adding to the turmoil.

The dangerous storm – which has been vacillating between a Category 4 and Category 5 hurricane – is expected to reach land on Wednesday. Weather forecasters and officials have been sounding the alarm in Florida, where a state of emergency has been declared for more than 50 counties. Mandatory evacuations for several zones went into effect Monday. Read More: Hurricane Milton 'One Of Strongest' Gulf Storms With 180 MPH Winds

As might be expected, the hurricane has been causing chaos at Florida airports. Some will close or suspend operations – including the airports in Tampa and Orlando – and others plan to monitor the storm and take action if necessary.

More than 1,000 flights across the U.S. have been canceled so far on Tuesday, according to Flightaware.com. Several airlines are letting passengers headed to or from Florida change their tickets for no extra charge, including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines.

Many travelers have been reporting that finding a plane ticket has been incredibly difficult as they try to flee Florida for other states, including New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Some of them include Garden State natives who were on vacation or attending college when the hurricane warnings started going out.

Residents of Edison, Maplewood, Stewartsville and River Vale were among them, telling News 12 New Jersey that they managed to find tickets back home – but only after scrambling and lucking out. One passenger said that his flight was about $600, a big jump from what the cost was before the hurricane warnings began.

Some travelers have paid up to six times the average ticket price, iHeartRadio reported, with even higher prices being reported on social media.

The fallout from Milton comes less than two weeks after Hurricane Helene – the second-deadliest to hit the U.S. mainland – left Florida and several other Southeastern states in shambles and in mourning for their dead.

NEWARK — The nonprofit GreenLight Fund of Greater Newark, citing an urgent need to address literacy gaps among local students, announced $600,000 will fund a program to strengthen reading skills through tutoring.

Reading Partners will work with schools and community organizations in Newark to implement the evidence-based program within their communities and support student learning, GreenLight Fund said in its announcement. Newark is joining many communities nationwide that have mobilized tutors to improve early literacy skills, Adeola Whitney, CEO of Reading Partners, said.

“Reading Partners has activated tens of thousands of supporters across the nation who believe, like we do, that reading is a civil right,” Whitney said in the news release. “Newark is not alone in this challenge of inequity in our education system, and we look forward to partnering with the Newark community to recruit tutors to help improve literacy rates and close the opportunity gap.”

Over the next four years, the national nonprofit Reading Partners, which says its evidence-based curriculum is based on the science of reading, will help recruit paid and unpaid tutors who will deliver personalized literacy instruction, in-person and online, to an estimated 4,500 students and facilitate family literacy workshops for 3,700 families, GreenLight Fund said. The goal is over 80% of students engaged will reach their annual literacy goals.

GreenLight Fund Greater Newark Executive Director Tish Johnson-Jones said both the data and community conversations have shown improving literacy is a critical issue in Newark.

“By recruiting and training community members to provide one-on-one literacy tutoring, we will help strengthen reading skills and set our young people up for lifelong success,” Johnson-Jones said.

The 2023 New Jersey State Learning Assessments (NJSLA) exam found only 23% of students in Newark are reading at grade level. Third grade is a pivotal year for reading proficiency, and research shows that reading at grade level by third grade is essential for educational development and is indicative of later success in life.

According to the 2023 NJLSA exam, the percentage of Newark third-grade students reading on grade level remained stagnant at 19%, compared to the statewide average of 42%.

Mark Comesañas, executive director of My Brother’s Keeper Newark, an organization that creates opportunities to give back to boys and young men of color, said reading from an early age is key to ensuring skills for school, jobs and life.

“MBK Newark believes that all children should be reading at grade level by third grade because that is the time in which reading to learn – not just learning to read – becomes essential,” Comesañas said. “Bringing Reading Partners to Newark will help us collectively continue to advance the research that shows interventions in key moments during a young person’s life can have the greatest impact and be predictive of later success.”

GreenLight Fund said it will host a conversation with community members about early literacy later this month, offering engagement resources to families later this year, and will be sharing details about how community members can sign up to provide tutoring services next year.

A company hired to replace 18,000 dangerous lead water pipes in Newark billed the city for $10.2 million while using misleading photographs, federal authorities announced Thursday.

The CEO of JAS Group Enterprise and a company foreperson have each been charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

CEO Michael Sawyer, 57, of Burlington, and his employee, Latronia Sanders, 55, of Roselle, are due in court Thursday.

Attorneys for Sawyer and Sanders couldn’t be reached Thursday morning.

JAS received a contract worth $10,209,870 to complete work at up to 1,500 sites, according to charging documents.

Hired by the city in 2019 for the Newark lead service line replacement, JAS didn’t bother to do the job, federal authorities said.

Instead of removing the lead pipes and installing copper ones, JAS allegedly submitted photos that represented the work was done or unnecessary, authorities said.

In spots where copper pipes were already installed, the company said it had installed them after taking out lead ones, authorities said.

Sanders, Sawyer and others then periodically submitted payment requests to the city, authorities said.

Crews later told investigators that Sanders directly told them not to replace lead pipes on multiple occasions, authorities said. One location cited in court documents was on Hawthorne Avenue, the other on Badger Avenue, authorities said.

No schools in Newark were part of the Newark Lead Service Line Replacement, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka said at an afternoon press conference at city hall.

A city official said residents were never in danger because a corrosion control knowns as orthophosphate had been used to coat the lead pipes.

“I don’t want to be this assumption that people were at risk because they were exposed to lead,” Baraka said. “But we don’t want to minimize the decision this firm made. It’s horrible that people would intentionally cut corners to get paid for work they didn’t do.”

Newark uncovered the problem in 2016 when workers found high levels of lead in the drinking water at some schools. Further testing from 2017 to 2019 showed lead levels among the highest of any city in the country.

“For years, lead pipes that transport drinking water to homes in Newark remained buried in the ground after the city hired a company to replace them,” Newark FBI acting Special Agent in Charge Nelson I. Delgado said in a statement.

“The business, along with others, were paid to replace the water service lines because any amount of lead exposure is detrimental to people’s health, particularly for children,” Delgado said. “We will hold accountable anyone who sees a payday in ripping off governmental agencies entrusted to protect the communities they serve.”

Before being hired as a contractor, JAS also worked on the lead pipe replacement program as a subcontractor for another construction company.

Baraka said the lead pipes neglected by JAS have since been replaced, adding that the company was one of eight contractors hired by the city to do the work.

“The rest of the companies did an incredible job,” the mayor said. “I don’t want them to get muddied up by what another company did.”

Anyone with additional information is asked to call the FBI at 973-792-3000.
