English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Tulsa, OK

When it comes to buying purebred puppies, there are a lot of breeds and questions to consider. Do you want an outdoor pup or one that spends its time indoors? Are you looking for a tiny dog you can take with you everywhere or a larger breed you can lay with on the couch? Of all the purebred puppies to choose from, none are quite like the English bulldog. Trial

It's Science, Not Trial and Error

Our cherished bulldog, Bruiser, was a unique boy. He stood out from other dogs. Like Bruiser, IrresistiBulls stands out from other breeders because we base our breeding practices on science and careful consideration.

Our goal isn't just about selling English bulldog puppies. It's to ensure that every puppy we breed excels in health, temperament, intelligence, and obedience. We don't rely on trial and error, which often yields more errors than successes. Extensive research underpins our methods to guarantee the best possible outcomes. Our dedication extends not only to the families welcoming our puppies into their homes but also to the well-being and quality of life of the puppies themselves. That's the IrresistiBulls difference.

Sire

Sire and Dams Bred for Excellence

When it comes to longevity, health, temperament, and intelligence, it all starts with the dam and sire. That's why our English bulldog sires and dams are carefully selected for their excellence, champion bloodlines, and genetic traits. We're not your run-of-the-mill English bulldog breeders in South Carolina; we've perfected our method. We genuinely care and view every puppy we bring into the world as a part of our extended family. Each one of our dogs is truly the "cream of the crop," guaranteed to pass on greatness to their offspring.

Around

World-Class Bulldog Lineage from Around the World

We meticulously breed for highly coveted traits and take proactive measures to limit traits that can lead to health conditions in your puppy. Our efforts have successfully eliminated issues such as corkscrew tails and narrow nares, ensuring a worry-free experience for our puppies and their new families.

An Improved Process of Breeding Purebred English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Tulsa, OK

Breeding any dog, especially English bulldogs, poses health concerns. We make every effort to breed English bulldogs with the desirable genetic traits while working to eliminate those that could result in health problems. The key is to avoid breeding puppies that are closely related and could potentially have genetic abnormalities.

Unfortunately, some breeders are either irresponsible or lack an understanding of the complexities involved in producing healthy English bulldog lines. We only breed dogs with the best-quality lineages and never take unnecessary risks by breeding dogs with overly similar ancestry. This approach safeguards not only our business but also the well-being of the puppies and the families who welcome them into their homes.

However, bringing a bulldog puppy home necessitates careful forethought and organization to guarantee a seamless adjustment for both you and your new furry pal. Keep these essential tips in mind when it's time to bring your bulldog puppy to your den.

Safe Space

Create a Safe Space

Choose a cozy and secure spot in your home for your bulldog puppy to relax and feel at ease. You might want to opt for a crate or a puppy playpen to create a snug and den-like space for them.

Supplies

Stock Up on Supplies

Gather essential supplies such as water and food, nutritious and high-quality puppy food, a leash and a collar, bedding, chew toys, and grooming items. If you're worried about overdoing it, don't fret. It's better to be overprepared and have extra than to be underprepared and need more supplies.

Puppy-Proof

Puppy-Proof Your Property

It's important to get your home ready for your new bulldog puppies before they arrive. English bulldog pups are inquisitive by nature and love to play, so expect some high-energy bonding early on. Clear away any small objects that could be swallowed, hide electrical cords, and remove any toxic plants to keep them safe.

Settling

Settling In After the First Few Days

During the initial days following the arrival of your bulldog puppy, it's essential to focus on establishing a nurturing environment and a consistent routine to build a strong bond. Here are some helpful tips to help your puppy settle in smoothly.

Routine

Get a Routine Going ASAP

If there's one thing bulldogs thrive on (besides nutritious, yummy food), it's a routine. After you've been with your new bulldog puppy for a few days, try creating a schedule. Plan out time for eating, bathroom breaks, training, and playing. We should note that it's important to create a schedule that can be incorporated into your family's routine. You don't need to rearrange your life, but you will need to cater to your new doggo to an extent.

Remain Calm

Try to Remain Calm and Patient

If you had to move to a new home when you were very young, you probably have an idea how a bulldog puppy would feel, too. It can be overwhelming - not just for your bulldog, but for you too. That's why you should try to be as patient and calm as possible while your new addition gets acclimated to their new surroundings.

Whether you're an experienced dog owner or a newcomer, bringing your puppy into their new home should be nothing but a joyful occasion. At IrresistiBulls, we're happy to help make sure you don't go home in a tizzy. That way, you can focus on spending time with your bulldog puppy and creating a loving home from day one.

Top 5 Reasons to Consider English Bulldog Puppies for Sale in Tulsa, OK

Bulldogs are undeniably one of the most adored dog breeds in the world. Their wrinkled faces, stocky bods, and fun personalities have endeared them to dog lovers everywhere. Have you ever met an English bulldog owner who didn't love their pup? We haven't. If you're still on the fence about buying a bulldog puppy for you or your family, you may want to re-think that stance after reading these reasons.

 Playful Bulldog Images Tulsa, OK

Generally speaking, bulldogs are great pets for kids. That's because they're incredibly calm, fiercely devoted, and, well, lazy. A screaming, tugging child doesn't faze them. They'll even let little ones dress them in cowboy hats and tutus without batting an eye.

 Family-friendly Bulldogs Tulsa, OK

Owning a bulldog means there's rarely a dull moment in your home. Whether they're snoring so loud it puts your sleep apnea to shame or interrupting your thoughts with a little flatulence, English bulldogs will make you smile even if you're in a bad mood.

Make no mistake - bulldogs must get exercise to remain healthy. However, when given the choice, many bulldogs would rather curl up on the couch with you than go for a multi-mile run.

English Bulldog Puppies Tulsa, OK

If you think breeds like border collies get all the credit for being smart, think again. Have you ever seen a border collie ride a skateboard or surf a wave? Probably not - but bulldogs are known for such feats. That's due in part to their low center of gravity, but it's mostly because bulldogs are so cool.

TULSA, Okla. -

What is the forecast for the weekend?

As a strong upper-level trough develops and passes over the northern third of the country Saturday night and Sunday, a slightly stronger surface boundary will form and move southward into our area Sunday morning through midday.

North winds will develop from 10 to 15 mph with Sunday afternoon highs in the upper 80s in the north and lower 90s in the south. No precipitation is expected.

Following the boundary, drier air will filter in, leading to cool mornings and warm afternoons Monday and Tuesday of next week.

By mid to late next week, daytime highs will be in the mid-80s, and morning temperatures will drop into the lower 60s.

Next week is expected to stay mostly dry under a mid-level ridge of high pressure, which will be the prevailing feature near Oklahoma.

The upper airflow from the northwest on Tuesday could bring a minor disturbance near the region early Tuesday morning.

For now, we'll maintain a low-end chance of a few Tuesday morning showers near or northwest of the Tulsa metro. Most if not the entire area will remain dry for the next 7 days or longer. The drought continues.

Hurricane Kirk and soon-to-be Hurricane Leslie are currently in the open Atlantic and will not directly affect the continental United States other than some high surf and swells this weekend in the northeastern U.S. coastal areas.

An area of disturbed weather persists in the southern Gulf of Mexico, with a 40% chance of developing into a named system in the coming days.

Regardless, showers and storms are expected across the southeast Texas Gulf Coast through to the Florida region over the next several days.

Heavy rainfall could bring more flooding across part of Florida by the middle of next week. This system will not directly influence Oklahoma.

TULSA, Okla. -

What is the forecast for today?

This morning, temperatures were mostly in the upper 40s to lower 50s in eastern Oklahoma's valleys and into the 50s near the metro. We're expecting daytime highs hitting the lower 80s under mostly sunny skies, with east-southeast winds at 5 to 10 mph.

What is the forecast for the rest of the week?

Wednesday will start with similar cool temperatures for the morning and climb to the lower and mid-80s for the afternoon.

A slightly higher chance for a few showers will be possible early Thursday morning. The region will stay dry for the foreseeable future, and unfortunately, drought conditions in eastern Oklahoma are likely to worsen.

The rest of the week will see a steady warm-up, peaking in the lower 90s on Sunday. A potent storm system trekking across the Northern Plains to the Upper Great Lakes this weekend will push a strong front through parts of Oklahoma by Sunday afternoon or evening.

Despite the front's passage, we're not expecting any rain. This sets the stage for a return to more autumn-like conditions early next week, with morning lows dipping into the 40s and daytime highs settling in the mid-70s.

The upper air pattern is expected to shift by mid-next week, increasing the chances for frequent fronts near northern Oklahoma. Although there is no strong indication of significant precipitation, a return to more fall-like conditions with temperatures near or slightly below the seasonal averages is anticipated by the middle of next week.

A system nearing next Tuesday may bring some shower chances over a larger area.

Football Forecast:

Both the university and Tulsa and Oklahoma State will not play this weekend. OU travels to the Cotton Bowl for the annual Red River Rivalry with the University of Texas. Game time Temperatures at the Cotton Bowl will be in the lower and mid-90s.

Update on Hurricane Milton:

Hurricane Milton continues to be a dangerous storm. After a rapid intensification process yesterday, the storm is expected to undergo eyewall replacement cycles with some minor variation.

It will continue to be a very powerful Category 4 to 5 hurricane but may slowly decrease wind speed as it approaches the Western Gulf Coast region of Florida Wednesday night, possibly nearing Cat 3 status. Regardless of specific classification, this dangerous storm will produce a significant storm surge across the coastal areas of Western Florida.

Storm surge anywhere from 7 to 12 feet will be possible. Slightly higher Storm surge is possible in some areas. Rainfall amounts from 7 to 15 inches will be likely. This system will have no direct influence on Oklahoma's weather.

Whenever someone mentions Route 66, many think of bucket list road trips and major cities where they would stop on the historic highway versus living near it. While there are iconic spots to see in Arizona while traveling along Route 66, some of the larger cities want more people to move to them to increase their GDP. One such Route 66 city will pay people $10,000 to move there in hopes of them falling in love with the city and choosing to live there for a lifetime.

It is not uncommon for some countries to pay people to move there. However, it was not until recently that US states began incentivizing residents to move to cities there. Places like Indiana pay remote workers to live there, with each city offering different programs and dollar amounts to make a move tempting, as do other states.

This includes Tulsa, Oklahoma, which will pay remote workers $10,000 to live in the city for a year. Remote workers only need to apply and go through the process. Within a few short months, they could be residents of a city along historic Route 66 and its unique things to see only in Oklahoma while still having the comfort of working from home.

Tulsa, Oklahoma Is The Route 66 City That Will Pay Remote Workers $10,000 To Live There

Beginning in 2018, Tulsa Remote began offering remote workers the opportunity to apply for a $10,000 grant to live in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for at least one year. At the time, remote working was still gaining traction and was less commonplace than it is today. As such, there was no knowing if the program would take off or flop. But with more than 3,000 members today, Tulsa Remote is clearly a success story.

The pandemic really helped to increase the popularity of Tulsa and remote working, and Tulsa Remote became the nation's largest remote incentive work program. Many employers no longer require workers to work in an office space. As such, remote workers began to look for places where the cost of living was less, and the quality of life was better, given that many could move anywhere.

While Tulsa Remote only requires remote workers that are accepted into the program to live in Tulsa for one year, "90% of folks that have come for that one-year commitment through Tulsa Remote have stayed beyond the year," according to Justin Harlan, the managing director of Tulsa Remote.

This move has helped to "increase the GDP in Tulsa in 2021 alone by $60 million." Since 2021, that number has grown with the increase of remote workers coming to the city.

Those accepted into the Tulsa Remote program can first see if Tulsa is a good fit for them. As such, finalists can take advantage of the Hosted Event, where they are reimbursed up to "$500 for themselves and a guest" to check out Tulsa over three days. The event is curated, so finalists get to see some of the city's most popular places and local haunts.

If convinced to move, remote workers not only receive $10,000 after moving to Tulsa, but they also receive access to a host of activities provided by the organization every month so that they do not feel isolated after their move. Instead, they can build a network and community of friends that makes them feel like a part of Tulsa rather than just living in the city. As a result, people are staying, and Tulsa is becoming more vibrant than ever.

Requirements To Apply For The $10,000 Grant To Live In Tulsa

For remote workers interested in what living in Tulsa is all about, the first step to receiving the grant is to apply for it. Once the ball is rolling with the application, there are a few more hoops to jump through before being accepted into Tulsa Remote's program.

Before filling out an application, there are eligibility requirements that must be met. Those requirements include:

Once these eligibility requirements are met, remote workers are encouraged to complete the application to proceed to the next step in the process.

Those who make it through the application process will then have a 30-minute virtual interview with staff from Tulsa Remote. This lets the organization get a feel for the applicant and allows those applying to ask any questions they may have about the process and Tulsa itself.

Approximately two weeks after the interview, applicants will be informed via their online portal whether they have been accepted to proceed with the process. If they have, a background check and verification of income will be required.

Applicants who pass the background check and income verification will be accepted into the program. From that point, remote workers have 12 months to move to Tulsa to receive their $10,000 grant. Whether remote workers want to rent or own a home is entirely up to them.

7 Best Cities For Those Who Plan To Work Remotely In Retirement

Retirees are changing their habits and are now continuing to work remotely. Here, you can find the best US cities to work remotely during retirement.

How The $10,000 Grant Is Paid To Those Moving To Tulsa

The grant's payment structure depends on whether remote workers decide to rent or purchase a home in Tulsa. Either way, the money is paid; it is just the structure is slightly different.

Moving to a new city permanently can be too much for some people. Many like to immerse themselves for a year or more to make sure they want to call the location where they moved home.

Tulsa Remote understands this and encourages those who question whether Tulsa is ultimately the right fit to rent. The organization will even help remote workers find appropriate housing by recommending locations where it is best to rent for those new to the city.

Remote workers who choose to rent will receive their $10,000 grant in monthly installments, paid over 12 months. The payments begin after a one-year lease agreement is signed for an apartment or home, remote workers move to Tulsa, and a new member orientation is attended.

Remote workers who know they want to live in Tulsa may purchase a home instead, knowing their residency in the city will be permanent.

According to Tulsa Remote, those who purchase a home have the option to receive monthly or lump sum payments from their grant.

To receive the payments, remote workers have several requirements they have to meet with their home purchase. Those requirements include:

Once these requirements are met, remote workers will have moved to Tulsa and attended the new member orientation, the $10,000 grant will be released to them.

For those who desire to live in different places in the US as remote workers, programs like Tulsa Remote provide just that opportunity. With the grant provided, it is low-risk and a great opportunity to live in cities on Route 66 or other desired locations. If, after the required time of living in the city or town, remote workers want to leave, they can. It is a win-win for both remote workers and the cities they live in.

TULSA, Okla. -

Tulsa County deputies are using a robotic dog at the Tulsa State Fair as an added layer of security. The “dog” can find explosives, weapons and hazardous materials and relay information to law enforcement in seconds.

Despite all the food stands and flashing rides, it is the four-legged creature that is stealing the show at the fair.

“I thought it was really cool,” said a fairgoer. “It freaked me out. I was like what is that?”

The drone dog is patrolling the fairgrounds and can be controlled from a small screen.

“You can connect it to an Xbox controller,” said Thad Debolt, founder of the company that created the drone dog. “You can run it off of a tablet. It all runs off of 4G LTE.”

The dog can sense explosives, hazmat situations and if someone has a weapon. Information is quickly relayed to first responders.

“With the camera systems that are on there, you get actual great evidence of what took place instead of having to rely on somebody,” said Debolt.

Tulsa County Sheriff Vic Regalado says the agency is always looking for new ways to keep everyone safe.

“Its capabilities are limitless and moving into the future,” he said. “These are things that are going to enhance the safety of our citizens.”

The sheriff’s office hopes to get one of the “dogs” to use full time. Regalado says it could be used for other big events and even for screening people at the county courthouse.

“We’re always getting strange backpacks left behind and things like that,” he said. “We wouldn’t have to utilize deputies to go check those bags, we could utilize this dog.”
